Contrary to my review, I will speak the truth that the staff who work here are top professionals, hard working, highly efficient, and more than worth their salt.If you are somebody who pride themselves in working hard, earning respect, prestige, money, and you contribute to society in paid labour and taxes, you will be in good company here. This practice will value you as a good customer, and you will receive the best service from these experienced professionals.But for those of you who know your Bibles, and share in the values taught by Christ, you may find yourself at odds with the business values, views, and attitudes held by certain individuals at this practice, as they are a business. You may find yourself under judgement here.I was educated in Christianity during junior school worship assemblies, church Sunday school mornings, Christian youth clubs, adult Bible studies, and read 40% of the Bible and still studying it. My work is as a disciple. And, as a follower of Jesus, I should live this way according to Scripture:o ”You cannot serve both God and money”,o “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth”,o “love one another”,o “freely give”,o “by grace”, “not by works”,o “the good news is proclaimed to the poor”,o “blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven”,o “it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God”,o “The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil”,o He “drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves”,o “give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven”,o “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. Now while that Scripture is pushing the boat far out there, nonetheless, I ask that Christians please pray for some of the individuals at this practice regarding their judgement. And remember that behind their professional demeanour, they are a business.For the rest of you who work hard in paid jobs and contribute in taxes: These are the best in their fields! You will find the greatest service here. Few work as hard as these people. You will be in the best of hands.

Bournbrook varsity medical centre is the best Gp. The service is top notch, the staff members are very friendly and appointments are always timely.

Very recently registered here and I’ve already had to attend multiple times and make several calls querying different things and I’m really impressed with this surgery.The reception team are very helpful and will ensure they get you the correct information.The two doctors I’ve seen so far have been great. Very thorough and reassuring. Everything is done in a timely manner. No issues getting an appointment either which is great.The registration process was super easy and fast. Once forms submitted I was registered within an hour!Very pleased ☺️

Trying to book appointment for over a month now but I couldn't just unbelievably Ridiculous

Pleasant and helpful staff, great GP, clean waiting room and surgery.

Busy health centre but always helpful and friendly.Have been a patient here for 30 years and no complaints in all that time. Thank you

What's going on? The surgery used to be brilliant but now you have to wait in a queue to get through on the phone. My husband waited 45 mins & when he was no.1 in the queue the line disconnected! He turned up for his appointment last week for blood tests & was told his appointment was cancelled & they had sent a text earlier in the morning! Why text, surely if you're cancelling an appointment phone the patient. When my husband attended the surgery the blinds were down in reception?? He attended today & only one nurse works on a Friday - no wonder you have to wait so long for an appointment. It's a real shame as we've always been so happy here but the service has plummeted. Our doctor is Dr Allen & good luck getting an appointment with her, it's impossible. Perhaps the surgery should concentrate on residents rather than students.

I have needed to phone and email this GP practise several times in the last week as it’s my daughter’s GP and I was supporting her. I have to say every interaction with the reception team has been amazing. They answered the phone every time I called. (Believe me this is unbelievable in its self as I have been trying for several weeks to talk to someone helpful at my own doctors surgery for weeks without success ) They listened and took action ; no stock answers or stalling. The GP (Dr Dungate ) has also listened to and supported my daughter with empathy and speed. Thank you so much! I wish I lived nearby as I would definitely sign up to this surgery.

Bournbook Varsity Medical Practice is a really nice GP to be registered under. They sent my NHS number quite promptly in the mail and have kept me updated from time to time about the health care options and benefits available to me. They even sent me a message to come and undertake some test so as to update my medical records and the process was quite fast and efficient. The staff are also quite nice and amiable and don't seem impatient or short with you. I like that I am registered with this GP.
