Worst company in existence. Absolute shambles of a company. Any excuse not to empty the bins. Just had a driver screaming at me. Will be reporting to the council

Quite simply the worst business going! We had used these for 15 months with no problems. Then we go 3 weeks without our bins been emptied. The communication was to just keep piling the rubbish up. As you can imagine, this got unbearable! Due to the issue we took out another bin contact, and cancelled with forge.They now state they have damages (laughable) and we need to pay them £250+ to cancel - despite not collecting for 3 weeks. The inital 12 month contact expired but they auto-roll you into another 12 months at a time!Stay Away!

Wanted to share what happened this morning. My daughter came off the road at 5:45 this morning, hit black ice on the way to work on Harewood road and ended up in a ditch. She was very shook up and crying when I arrived. Tried to dig her out, it was pitch black and fast moving traffic made it very dangerous. About to give up, a Forge recycling wagon pulled up, checked if everybody was ok and set his wagon at an angle to protect my daughter. Lights flashing things all of a sudden seemed at lot better. Two minutes later strap attached and safety pulled out. Thank you so much to the driver. A true gentleman and definitely our hero.

I use this company to remove the waste from my business. There have been many issues.Two stands outs….They were charging me for excess waste during Lockdown when my business was closed and there was not even any waste to collect. This indicates that it is a common practice for them to do this throughout the year to many businesses. It’s really hard to prove the weights taken from the bin and they themselves were unable to provide me with the weight from each take. Basically they’re steeling money.Recently they swapped my bin for one with graffiti and a lot of food waste in the bottom. When I requested for a new bin or my old bin they informed me I would be charged £180.Giddy Up Cowboys!

Competitive price. Friendly driver went above and beyond to get it in the exact position I wanted it.And came and took it away the very same day I asked them to. Friendly on the phones too. Five star company

Needed a skip delivering to my mother in law's, was a bit worried it wouldn't be left in the right place as we weren't there when it was delivered. Absolutely nothing to worry about our instructions were followed to the letter. Will definitely use again and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you, you made a stressful time just a little easier for us.

Im always against auto renewal as payments can automatically be made and contracts renewed for a full year but sometimes its difficult to remember these dates. But this firm was on another levelUpon realising in mid September that our contract anniversary was due in the first week of December and i wouldn't like to renew, i called them informing them that i wouldnt like to use their service anymore.I was told over the phone that they wanted 3 months notice before the auto renewal was due in order to not be charged for the whole of next years contract. which is ridiculous!!So you've automatically signed up for something 3 months before your going to use that service without signing or agreeing to anything with a full cancellation charge for the full 15 months ahead?If someone overlooks this like i did it, they asked for the full payment for the 12 months after the auto renewal date as i hadnt cancelled 3 moths prior to the december date. They never got it of me ofcourse, but they tried.Avoid.

Overall a good skip firm with a great price compared to others across Leeds. Matt and Cameron's promises are always met. Only issue with Forge recycling is that if your skip is not accessible the second they arrive on site, they leave without saying anything. We've had times where we just needed to move a car out of the way of the skip but they had already gone within the second without telling us

Do not use this company.A couple of months after signing a contract they introduced a new surcharge that increased our costs by over 20%.They regularly don't show up for collections without letting you know.Also because our regular collection day was on a Monday there were many bank holidays where they didn't show up and the contractually required alternative collection never happened.Also they make cancelling the contract ad difficult as possible to trap you into contract extensions.
