I study at university of linkedin since last year and it has been a fabulous journey for me.The University is very supportive for its students, and lincoln is a very calm and quiet place to start your Uk life with.Ive worked closely with the university as student ambassador and also have worked in marketing team while pursuing my masters there. It has been a wonderful journey for me as i complete my masters this year and start my Psw.

The mentors are very unprofessional, after the due date of hand ins, they refused to give any insight or knowledge about whether of not my friend was going to pass the course, after all their hard work they put in , they do did not deserve to get treated how they did, and thus I think the staff need to have more compassion and regard to a students feelings when passing and failing, a uni course is a very big deal, and have responsibility to respond to emails, and complete work that they are meant to be doing regardless.

Fantastic staff and quality of education. However, the timetable is mainly to suit students who live on campus, and is sometimes not practical for students who travel in. For instance, I have a day whereby I have a lecture from 9am until 10 am, and then nothing until 3 pm ! I am a student who commutes to university; there is only so much reading that you can do in 5 hours.

The staff are pretty much indifferent to your situation when it comes to anything but idyllic circumstances (I had to do an entire group project independently while they couldn’t be bothered enough to alter the assignment - I was not the only student in this situation). Conveniently their is no system in place should you request a remark (this is literally available for GCSE exams) and despite offering opportunity for feedback at the end of each module, I am sceptical whether this is just done as a courtesy and are in reality extremely dismissive of any criticism provided by students (I witnessed this first hand when I provided feedback in person and was quickly asked to leave and when I brought the issue up via email the response of the school was to threaten me with sanctions). The IT department is a joke and scarcely qualified to do their jobs judging by the numerous issues I personally experience during my time (for example, not being able to enrol in my third year and consequently having my - and many others - student finances delayed). The health service is a joke assuming you’re lucky enough for them to even take your call, and they refuse to make any appointments more than a day in advance, and despite an institution supposedly staffed by doctors, they clearly weren’t bothered enough to have one employed to address students medical needs.

Visited my significant other who’s doing her masters here. Lovely school, a good mix of modern and historical buildings located in a small town that’s surrounded by a plethora of good food.Library is slightly small with limited books, but the ambience is perfect for studying.Food options in the school compound are limited and slightly expensive. Consider ordering takeaway or dine at the relatively inexpensive buffets around.

As someone who went to this school during quarantine, I can say that they did a horrible job at handling the situation. While other universities worked with their students and tried to make the difficult experience as manageable as possible, this university did the complete opposite. It’s pretty obvious that they had no real plan. Wish I could give zero stars.
