had 2 tattoos done by nina. all lovely staff that make you feel welcome! queer friendly! was easy to pay by card and lots of information given on how to look after my new tattoo :) will be back soon!

Kat is the only tattoo artist I will go to now, after having 3 of my tattoos there. She is just the best person ever, in my opinion. The studio itself is kooky and fun, and absolutely immaculate, everything is sterile and Kat has so much knowledge, and such a wonderful personality you can't help but feel at ease during the entire process. She will make sure that the tattoo you are getting is exactly what you want (within the reason of physics) and triple checks with you about stencil placement and whether you're ready before starting. I have recommended Velvet Tattoo to so many of my friends and will continue to do so to anyone that asks me. I absolutely cannot fault it.

Kat at Velvet Tattoo is amazing! An extremely skilled artist who creates beautiful unique tattoos to reflect the customers needs. I've now had two tattoos by Kat and my husbands too- we cant recommend her enough. Very professional and a great person all-round. I enjoy our chats and laughs during our sessions. Had my first tattoo with Nina yesterday - was a bit nervous but she was super friendly and made me feel really at ease! So happy with it and it was such good value for money! Have already recommended her to a couple of friends :)

Kat is an amazing tattoo artist! I love her studio too, lovely space. I’m so happy she did my half sleeve for me. The photo doesn’t do it justice. I am constantly getting complimented on what a lovely piece it is.From the consultation, right through to completion Kat was a true professional. She guided me in what would look good on me. I am so glad I went with her suggestions and not some of my original ideas. I’m so happy that I plan to go back to Kat for my back piece.Cannot recommend Kat enough! Oh, in fact I have, and my friend has also been in to see Kat :)

Just had my ears pierced by the lovely Kat and while I can’t quite say it was painless it was over very quickly and she soon put me at ease. I have had several tattoos here over the years and it’s always a great experience. Kat is talented, fun and friendly and the studio is clean, stylish and in no way intimidating as I have found other studios to be in the past. I even bought my mum here for her first tattoo!

I had my foot tattooed and it is the most beautiful tattoo. Fine line work and beautiful colours. Being in such a sensitive place Kat was delicate and quick. Beautiful Tattoo and I adore it.

I was recently tattooed by Nina and I couldn't be happier with the result! I was a little fickle with my design but she was super patient and the end result is a dream. I'm a massive wuss when it comes to needles (literally a tattooist's worst nightmare) but she was again super patient with me and kept making sure I was comfortable and feeling okay. I managed to sit for 4+ hours and Nina was wonderful company. The end result is beautiful - I'm so in love with my new tattoo. It's better than I could ever have hoped! The studio itself has a really relaxing atmosphere and it's super clean and so lovely to sit in - easily the nicest studio I've ever been in. Kat the owner is so lovely too and made me feel super welcome. I recommend this studio to everyone I know!
