Visited Greggs at 68,/70 High St in Brentwood for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. Welcoming staff, extremely modest prices on both food and drink. Great selection of sarnies, cakes, biscuits and more. Clean, indoor seating, well worth a visit if you haven't been there yet. We will be returning soon !

After being a local for over 15 years and using this Greggs, I feel I now have the experience to comment the following.Kate is the most grumpy Greggs worker I've ever seen. She treats every customer like they are a nuisance simply for entering the shop. It's mad to watch. What's worse is it looks like she is in charge and the other staff are all so lovely?Furthermore, no staff are wearing gloves as they prepare your lovely bacon rolls and baguettes. How scummy.

The flat white in Greggs is excellent, it definitely wakes you up. I usually get a bacon and sausage roll with a flat white and it costs £2.50 which is an absolute bargain.The sausage rolls and other pasties are also decent.The shop is usually busy and the staff are always polite friendly and courteous.

Am a regular customer I always get great customer service and staff are always happy to help and go the extra step above and beyond. Would recommend specifically this Greggs to everyone because staff are so friendly and nice to have a chat with whilst preparing my order in the mornings on a side note prices and good food is always fresh hot and delicious. Thank you for making my days better

Excellent as always. Prompt service by people who appear to enjoy what they are doing. I'm a regular at Greggs various places usually have cappuccino with a sausage roll and whatever branch I'm at it's always great.

Some of the staff is rude, coffee goes out of the cup, they can’t even bother to wipe it, ask for no chocolate on your coffee, they just do it anyway.. often get cold pastries as well.. you’re looking forward to it in the morning and they just make a mess of it, ruining your breakfast..

Much better since the upgrade, but there is now less seating... Guess you can't have everything. Nice to see Greggs continually upgrade to keep ahead rather than disappear like so many other places.
