Picked up a couple of packs of the old English sausages on the weekend.Great selection, always a good T-Bone, amazing fresh bread and a lovely apple pie.People couldn't be nicer, see you on the weekend!!

Home away from home. Great meat, bacon, sausages, ham & pies. But also, Barry's tea, Tiffin bars, 2 kinds of red lemonade, proper spuds and other veg, great sliced pan at the weekend and the local papers from back home. Lovely place, lovely people.

Great meat counter. Ordered a turkey crown recently, happy with it. Great vegetables and always pleasant welcome.

We bought our Thanksgiving Day turkey here in November and ordered our Christmas one on the same day. Both turkeys were absolutely delicious! Beautifully prepared and smelled lovely. I think the pricing was very good and the friendly service was lovely too. We also had 2 duck eggs for boxing Day breakfast and these too were delicious. I can't recommend them highly enough. Please keep using this place. We can't afford to loose it! Thank you all xx

Best place to get hold of some much-loved Barry's Tea! Lovely service too and the meat counter always looks very inviting. Not to mention the freshly-sliced crusty bread is delicious!

Me and my family have been going to Gerry's for years. It's a family run local business that values your custom and their loyal customers. It's a small shop with everything you need to hand including a lot of imported Irish goods that are unavailable elsewhere. The store has many customers from the Irish and local community and the butchers is top notch and sells only the best quality. Customer service is literally the benchmark for other small businesses and the staff are polite, friendly and have a genuine interest in their customers. I know many people who go there loyally and have never had a bad word to say. The store is so popular I have seen people queuing outside at times. Wheelchair accessible as it is all one level and convenient easy parking right outside. Tesco's is next door but I get what I can at Gerry's to support the smaller shopkeeper. The store is involved in the local community and usually has notices displayed for events, charity occasions, live performances and obituaries for the local and Irish community. No one deserves 5 stars more than Gerry Taylor who is a hard working man!

A quality butcher. Really friendly guys who are really helpful and will ask what you have in mind before reccomending or offering advice. The quality is really high across all the fresh meats. The chicken breast and sausages being personal favourites. Do ask about what seasonings they have also, you'll not want to miss those.
