Amazing shop, along with the vast array of herbs and spices on sale, there is a great range of sauces, pastes, rice, pasta, teas. It really is an emporium with goods reasonably priced. The customer service is brilliant with staff always friendly and helpful. Oh and the fresh baguettes are to die for!

We had used this store a few times a few years back and just out of the blue thought we would make a revisit to obtain products we used to have. I was surprised to see that most of those products had got way more expensive but you could say they have got everything you would possibly need under one roof. I purchased impulsively but found that I had spent more than what I needed to and could have saved a few pounds on what I purchased just by using a supermarket, I ended up just purchasing spring roll wraps and curry paste. Perhaps they are not so busy so prices are hiigh.

Any spice you need, this is the place. Reasonable prices, very helpful and friendly staff, a pleasure to visit.

Excellent store. Brings back the Asian culture as soon as you walk in. Many types of food selection. Very good owner of store. Always with a happy smile. Would shop here if I lived locally

This place is on my doorstep and has been for several years but this was my first visit. Can't believe I've not been in before. A tremendous selection of all things eastern and oriental from pickled chestnuts, gram flour, fresh yam. Things I know, and a lot of things I've never heard of. Will be regular from now on.

This was recommended by a friend, unfortunately it was a one off visit! Why? It's just your very basic Asian shop with not much fresh produce. A little pricey, this isn't worth the travelling for me, much better ones in Westcliff!Water on the floor, informed the staff, a shrug of the shoulders that said so much. Staff not helpful nor really interested.They do have a large selection of products and I can't fault that. But when pennies matter the travelling will save you loads.When a customer asks where an item is it's good manners to show them where it is, not just flip your wrist and say over there!Want to keep customers happy, be friendly informative and smile, after all, we as customers may want to come back, not me though.....Bad 1st impressions last, unsatisfied don't return...

You can get everything in on place, the staff are knowledgeable, especially the owner

The SpiceBoat is the kind of place you can spend a lot of time browsing the aisles and discovering so many different products and types of produce. I never knew there were so many varieties of Sriracha!! Also has a wide range of spices at great prices and a frozen section for those samosas and other bits.

Surprisingly large shop with lots and lots of oriental food like spice currypaste pasta and rice, tea and all kinds of oil and vinegar. Also fresh and frozen foods (fish). You named it, they have it. Owner is very friendly and likes to help choosing.
