One of our beautiful dogs needed several serious operations on one of his back legs. Sadly his leg couldn't be saved.The vet, Mark, was outstanding. All the staff were so kind, compassionate and caring. Our beautiful boy couldn't have been cared for any better and we couldn't be more grateful.Mark would call regularly just to see how Ronnie was doing.All the staff went above and beyond.Excellent service. Thank you so very much ❤

Thank you so much, you can really tell you care for the animals. With the ‘cat only’ tables and the receptionist cuddling a dog whilst doing a fabulous job, I know that if my pet needed further treatment he’d be cared for beyond the basic duty of care.Please know that you are all appreciated beyond the thank you we gave in person.

Vet was rude and uncaring. My Cat was scared and growled at the vet once, he said he was unfriendly and could not complete all his checks. Our cat has been drooling, tongue hanging out of his mouth and has lost a lot of weight in the last 2 weeks. Was told he was okay whilst at the appointment so he was fine. Have changed practice.

1st time using Medivet brilliant staff and great after care!

In 2018 this vet killed my dog , a routine op , paid for all the pre-op tests , took him to them at 08:00 , followed instructions, nofood or water since 20:00the night before , toldhe was first to be operated on, I hung about , every hour I rang , told lies , excuses , at 20:30 that night told op had been done , told we close soon he's going to be put in cage to sleep, I reacted badly, skef if he would be watched overnight , told no , so said I. Coming to get him , I got to vets , my boy was dragged out on a dirty , filthy sheet by four women and dumped Infront of me, I had to carry him to the car he was half conscious and crying in pain whimpering and limp , I got him home , within an hour he was struggling to breath, he was crying in pain , he was in my arms on the floor, his breathing and his body started to fit , my partner called their out of hours emergency vet, I'm screaming and crying told I was emotional and overreacting, he died in my arms the vet then called back callec said she got lost , then said probably best he died, , it was a routine castarasiand then got billed for call out. 6 weeks later my cat his constant companion had same treatment and disregard £300 tests and shurty nasty,rude , ignort disrespectful and awful treatment told nothing wrong and then she died in my arms , at home , no explanation, no results of tests paid for , then told I must not allow her to be cremated by anyone but them and I had to take her at 07:00 the following day , she was grabbed out of my arms they threw her blanket back at me and said nothing , I stood in shock , and then they demand I pay £40 for cremation fee!!! N I paid it . These people are evil AVOID at all costs . tdied in mI'was told wellbest he's died

The vet who saw us was very caring. Trying to put our anxious boy at ease. Although it didn’t work with him we very much appreciated the vet’s efforts

We've been with Bruce and his team since early days...18 years ago! Very professional, trustworthy, kind and always helpful. 5 star without a doubt!

We've been using these vets for 2 1/2 years now for our cat, we have always found the reception team helpful. This visit was just for his yearly valuations, the vet gave him a check over and did a through job, she was very interested in his background and how we manged to meet him.

I registered with a independent vet practice 2 miles from my home, over time it was bought out by Medivet, now its a 25 mile round trip to Scunthorpe to see a vet if you have managed to find a locum. Out of hours is a 60 Mike round trip to the outskirts of Hull. My dogs are older now, but I'd never register any pets in the future with Medivet
