Stayed here as part of a training course, started off great then seemed to lack as the weeks went on, food served was lukewarm at best, and food per table could never be served at once. Sometimes meals were 15 minutes between receiving them, my colleagues finishing their meal before receiving mine. Three nights the meals went to other tables and other rooms when using room service, staff seem to have no clue of table numbers. Room was basic but felt like needed a freshen up, walls marked, tiles cracked and wallpaper peeling off. Stayed in several rooms over my 6 week course, the baths were hazardous, so slippy, attempted a bath one night and found the base of the bath slimey as if not been cleaned thoroughly. Didn’t really have much interaction with staff, seemed friendly.

Hotel was lovely, only downside was that the room got too warm, even with the window open as wide as we could open it & a fan on. Affected sleep as with having the window open there was quite abit of noise. Had a meal in the hotel which was nice, but didn't like the starter coming out the same time as the main meal. We still enjoyed our weekend away though, just a little tired. Staff so friendly and helpful & lovely breakfast.

So disappointed. Stayed here few years ago, and it felt luxurious. Now, it feels like management are just cutting corners. Attention to detail would go a long way.Went to a wedding here, the ceremony was excellent!Sit down meal. They served veg options 15 minutes before everyone else, then kids 15 minutes after everyone else. Is it difficult for the kitchen to coordinate a full table together?Evening buffet, food good but no napkins.Bar only 1 lager (Stella available)

The stay was great, with no issues with the room or the room facilities. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in! There are no views to look at out the window so dont expect that. The room had a very large TV. However, in the early hours of the morning, neighbours TV was on loud as they had children, which i understand. But it meant the walls were too thin. So other than that, it was fine. Just lost several hours of sleep.

It's not a bad hotel. The rooms are quite clean and cozy. Very comfortable and large bed, large TV. The hotel has a large swimming pool, a sauna and a steam room. There is also a gym and a cozy bar for relaxation. This is a three-star hotel and you don't need to expect more from it, but it will definitely justify itself, because it's good there. Oh yes, there are delicious breakfasts.

Great Gym. No plant-based vegan options. Room was dusty, especially bottom of wardrobe and inside drawers. Carpet in room quite dirty. Cushions on the lounge seating area at reception were filthy. Some staff were nice and pleasure to deal with, but the other half were grumpy and looked like they didn't want to be there.

Stayed for a few days for a training course nearby. This will be an in depth review of the hotel and bar/food. Gym will be in separate review.HOTEL:My room was a standard double single. The beds are on wheels so every time I got into bed it would roll out underneath me! Decent room size, and an enormous TV. Coffee and tea provided. Decent bath size, pressure on the shower could have been better. Shampoo, shower gel, and handwash were all provided. The view wasn't anything particularly special (not surprising given the fact this hotel is situated in an industrial estate pretty much).Bar has plenty of seating available, and lots of TV screens which has been showing football, although the screens change back FREQUENTLY to the Christmas adverts. The staff cannot pull a pint to save their lives. They seem nice enough but the service was not attentive.FOOD:Day 1 food:Buffalo tenders from appetizers section - very disappointing for £9 (or £6 if inc. with a main). Small in size, maccies chicken selects are far nicer!Gourmet black and blue burger - comes out on a huge plate but the food doesn't fill it so looks underwhelming. Burger was nice but not £18.50 nice.Pinched some of my friends fried ravioli starter - this was surprisingly nice, liked the texture of it and it was quite tasty!Day 2:Opted for buffalo wings - decent portion size of these, had to ask staff to get the buffalo sauce. Just normal chicken wings, cooked decently.'Garbage can nachos' served in a big bowl, lots of cheese, bit of salsa and cream. Would have been nice if the salsa was spread a bit more around and maybe served with guacamole also. Otherwise, I thought it was pretty good.Friend ordered the sirloin, and at £29 I would have been a bit miffed. He said it was a decent steak but not cooked how he wanted.Day 3:Had the superfood salad and was incredibly disappointed. So so BLAND. I ordered it with salmon and that was the only thing with flavour. Gutted.Opted for a dessert tonight, double chocolate cheesecake. As described, very indulgent and nice.Day 4:Opted for the tower stack of 3 starters. Fish goujons - pretty decent. Ribs - probably nicest thing I have had during my time here, good quantity and very BBQ-y. Loaded fries upgraded with chicken - didn't get the chicken so flagged staff who just seemed confused and walked off. I ended up going to someone else and then got them to sort it. They just chucked some chicken on top, not redone, so all the cheese had solidified and gone cold.Breakfast:Typical full English options - bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, scrambled eggs. Bacon has been very crispy every day, almost burnt. Also would be nice to have some hash browns rather than potatoes.Continental options - pastries, cereal, yogurt, and fruit.Coffee and tea from a machine. Apple and orange juice available.

Myself and a few colleagues were booked in here for a work trip and it has been great from start to finish. The service we received from Tammy and Adele was second to none, helping us with a number of obstacles and requests expertly.Special mentions to Amy and Darren who were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.We have a few options for hotels when we come here for work and we will be choosing this one in the future whenever possible.

Best part of the stay was the front of house staff who were excellent. The location is perfect if you're a rugby league fan as it's adjacent to the stadium. However, this means it's in the middle of a business park and surrounded by car dealerships, so not ideal for visiting Hull City Centre. But there's plenty of parking and the restaurant offers a selection of pub grub dishes and giant wide screen TVs dedicated to sport coverage. The room rates were very good too.
