Trying to give a fair and honest overview. The doctors and nursing staff in this practice are pleasant, polite and helpful, even under pressure. I have always received appropriate treatment, referrals and advice. However getting an appointment is far from easy. The practice should look at its phone systems which are failing badly. I called 103 times and then waited 21 mins before being able to speak to someone. It's hardly surprising that there are so many bad tempered patients when they cannot even get through to a receptionist let alone make an appointment! What do they expect? I was very sick at the time and found it unnecessarily stressful. Other patients are taking time off work just to get through. Those who can't spend hours on the phone are unable to get an appointment at all...this part is very bad and could eve be life endangering! No wonder A&E's are unnecessarily overloaded if people can't see their GP when they need help. Most of the receptionists are pleasant and helpful - but there are some who bite! Be nice because biting back makes them worse.Sadly the reputation of this practice has gone down enormously since the covid disruptions and it is not recovering. Its major fault is its inaccessibility! Please, please can we return to being able to book an appointment on the website as this would be patient friendly, temper friendly, phone line friendly, receptionist friendly and way, way more efficient.

Unfortunately this surgery is the worst I have ever used. I thought they are improving slightly over recent months as Iv actually been able to get the odd appointment. However these appointments are actually at the out of hours service which accommodates people from all over Sheffield and is not surgery activity at all. As a result the doctors on the service no nothing of your history and referrals that are meant to be processed are never handled by the surgery itself so go missing. So while it may appear you are lucky enough to get an appointment the surgery itself does not seem to accommodate any appointments for patients that are on their books that i have come in to contact with.In addition when we moved home we called to change address. We where told we had to take time out of work to collect and personally deliver forms back to the surgery to change address. We did this twice losing pay from work. For both forms to go missing and take over six months and many calls to try get the addresses updated. I used to use the website to get appointments yet the surgery seem reluctant to allow me to update my password to access this service again.

I'm sure being a receptionist is v challenging, but if when i politely ask for a form Natalie, then i dont want to feel like im an inconvenience, or see you roll your eyes at me. It's v hostile when I am Ill & haven't done anything wrong!

Would have given no stars if that had been possible . I was given wrong blood results a while ago , they rang a couple of weeks ago discussing a patient . I interrupted and said you have wrong person , I don't complete surveys , they say they are confidential yet I got a reply from receptionist , the doctors conflict each others diagnosis and treatment , trying to get passed a receptionist is so difficult . Doctors say you can prebook appointments yet when you ring they say no . If you are lucky enough to get an appointment and get home and read your doctors record online that the information wasn't what happened in the appointment .I would never recommend anyone to join this surgery . I can't wait to leave . What a joke this place is and dangerous to patients health .

The worst health centre in Sheffield. The receptionists have a disgusting attitude and their job is too much effort for them, who ever runs this place should be ashamed of themselves bringing in the bad mannered individuals to deal with ill people over the phone. The NHS should investigate the behaviour of the staff at this health centre because it’s unacceptable and to be quite honest, they don’t deserve to have a job.

Although I have only received the best care from doctors and politeness from receptionists something really needs to be done about contacting the centre by phone. Stop blaming covid guidelines and abusive patients.its the Job of the practice managers to get it sorted out. Get us back to queueing system so that we at least have a fighting chance. I have friends using all the other surrounding medical centres and they are shocked at how ours is run. My worry is, what if 1 of these people trying to get thru has cancer they don't know about, and they are trying for weeks to get through. Your system isn't working please listen to your patients.

Tried calling on behalf of my mother this morning as she starts work from 7:30am and unable to call herself, I called 181 times and had the user busy immediately, no ringing at all from 8am to 9:30am. My mum then rang while on her break and was told only 5 people have been on the phone but was still unable to get an appointment. My mum then went to the centre to collect login details for online appointments, where none are available from today 27th March through to June. How ridiculous! She is now going to have to wait until she is on holiday from work to go and stand outside at the door to get an appointment about an issue that has been a concern since January. This has been an ongoing issue for such an extended period of time as both my mum and brother continually have issues with getting any appointment. How can they expect to help those in need when they have no availability for people for 3 months from the time they need an appointment. No one plans to be ill 3 month in advance.

They did a blood test without washing hands or gloves and no alcohol wipes. Call without appointments and tell you you’ve missed it . Then when you do have an appointment they never call. This is the experience of 3 patience

I've always found them 5star sorry I'm moving away and having to leave. Been with them since birth. Had one or two negatives but at the side of other practices I've been lucky. Nurses are amazing. Could do with a better morning phone system though
