Our two year old cockapoo, Peggy, has been walking with Alex since she was a puppy. Peggy can be nervous sometimes, but Alex knows how to deal and care for her expertly. Peggy absolutely loves Alex and can’t wait for her daily walks. Being with Alex also enables Peggy to have socialisation time with other dogs which she thrives on.We feed Peggy Parkside dog food. They have a great range of flavours that even our fussy furbaby loves. I cannot recommend Alex and Pippa enough.

We 100% recommend Pippa at Parkside Pets! We have had several 1-1 sessions with our cocker spaniel puppy and found all of them extremely helpful. We've focused on a range of things - including basic commands, sleeping through the night, separation anxiety, recall, pulling on the lead, and much more - and with Pippa's help we've tackled all of them have a very happy and well trained 1 year old dog.Pippa's approach is entirely focused on rewarding good behaviour and positive reinforcement - she has managed to turn countless stressful or difficult scenarios into fun, positive games and we are constantly amazed by her creativity. Pippa also sends clear follow up notes after each session which is really helpful.The other thing we've realised is that it's not really about training your dog - it's about training yourself! Pippa has equipped us with the skills and confidence we need to train Albie so we can get the best out of him and always give clear commands and praise.Puppy training has definitely been a worthwhile investment for us which we know will result in many years of Albie being a happy, calm and well behaved dog. I have relied on Alex, Pippa and their team for over 12 years- with my beloved and dearly departed Flatcoated Retriever and now with a new puppy. Alex is 100% reliable, full of good advice and support for all dog (and owner!) issues and preps most importantly she is devoted to ensuring the animals are fit, healthy and have fun. Her advice on nutrition and her new shop have made life so easy fro me and resulted in a pup in top condition.

Alex and Pippa are brilliant! We attended the 4 week puppy classes with our 4 month old puppy, and they were so welcoming and helpful! Not only do they teach you basic commands but also the basic manners that all dogs should have! No question is too much for them, which as we are 1st time owners was really important to us! I would highly recommend to anyone who wants some extra training or even go on a training walk!

Cannot recommend Alex and Parkside Pets enough. Alex has been helping us with training of our Boxer puppy. Alex always goes above and beyond to accommodate us, continually teaching both us and our pup. Always available for advice and guidance, and the difference in our puppy's learning and behaviour has been fantastic.Our pup was also a fussy eater when we got him - we tried him on Parkside Pet food, and he loves it and eats so well now.

Can’t rate Alex highly enough. Rocky has joined regular social walks since he was a young pup and he has benefitted so much from a socialisation and training perspective. Whenever we have hit tricky patches like the adolescent phase, a few 1:1 training sessions have worked wonders. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Parkside Pets. Alex has been phenomenal in supporting us through the first few months of having a puppy in our lives. Having rescued our pup from overseas we have had a number of challenges to work through, from her initial anxieties through to managing challenging behaviour in her adolescence. We found our 121 sessions incredibly useful and has built our confidence and enjoyment of having a dog in our lives. We have been using Parkside Pet Services for 5 years now and i just wanted to write a review because I want to share how amazing they are. Pippa and Alex are so trustworthy, reliable and professional. They have the balance to be able to remain a very professional company but are equally truly passionate and caring with all the dogs they look after.as if the dogs were their own. Each dog is treated as an individual and its individual needs met without any hindrance to the other dogs they are walking. Their loyalty and dedication to not just the dogs but to their customers is excellent and we literally can't fault them so thank you Pippa and Alex from Marlie and Mums x

Alex has been an absolute lifesaver and pleasure to work on our puppy with. She was extremely empathetic and understanding with addressing some communication challenges we were having. In our first session, we saw a 50% improvement in our puppy’s overall behaviour from how clear and effective Alex was with him and the consistency we backed it up with (which she made easy for us too). I can now confidently say that we not only have a very obedient puppy, but we now actually understand his personality and needs in a way we never knew before. 10/10 - can’t recommend highly enough!

What a great start Alex helped us make with our Weimaraner puppy. She met us in our home before pup came home, to offer advice on preparing for her and settling her in, then visited us again for some 1:1 sessions that hugely helped our confidence. Group sessions were great and a wonderful way of socialising puppy and training her around distractions. We decided to try Parkside’s grain free food and it’s been a real success. Pup loves it and had no problems transitioning to it.
