Innovation Jiu Jitsu | Innovation Jiu Jitsu is owned and managed by Head Instructor Lee Kirtly. Lee is a Multi Gold winning medalist in Brazilian Jiu jitsu and grappling. Innovation Jiu Jitsu first opened back in 2014 and soon became one of the best martial arts gyms in the North East

Fab kids classes with great instruction, a good mix of boys and girls of all ages. My 9 year old has attended for a year and finds it a really fun outlet for energy.The confidence and the awareness of the importance of team work and effort that the kids gain from BJJ at Innovation is brilliant.

If you are looking for a BJJ gym with coaches that are experts in their field, are welcoming, supportive and have patience whilst you are learning then this is the place for you. Both of my children joined under two years ago and I have seen them grow hugely in confidence, learn many new skills and have had made some great friendships doing so. This club provides a mixture of enjoyment and technical learning from a great team of coaches that are clearly very passionate about development in the BJJ field.

For those curious about starting Jiu Jitsu i couldn’t recommend Innovation enough.The gym has a great atmosphere and i found people to be very welcoming when i first joined.The coaching i have recieved from Lee, Paul and the rest of the team has been second to none.

My daughter has been a member for 18 months, and it is her favourite place to be. The coaches deliver sessions that are fun and engaging, making sure every child feels included. I've seen a huge improvement in my daughter's confidence since she joined; I really cannot recommend Innovation Jiu-Jitsu enough.
