Outstanding pies!!! As it was a lovely evening we got a couple of steak and ale pies to takeaway; after just a few bites I knew I’d be going back for a second pie! Usually your run of the mill pies have a few bits of meat topped up with lots of gravy - not these pies! The pies are stuffed with tender steak that is just delicious. To top it all off the service is brilliant and incredibly friendly. We will be back!!

The best pie I have ever had! went for the ham hock and leek and wasn't disappointed. My partner had meat and potato and loved hers too.We ordered some to take home but they needed to make one up. This was no problem and I saw the pie made from scratch there and then and cooked.None of the pies are frozen and amazing quality.such a great little place too with nice drink options and super friendly staffGreat taste of Cornwall will definitely return

Amazing evening with these guys. Excellent service, friendly staff and delicious food. Would highly recommend to visitors for something relaxed and a little bit different. Scotch eggs and Brie were so so good!!! We also had pies and burgers which were really tasty and the desserts were awesome! Very reasonably priced too!

We had the pork bao bun with buffalo sauce and the steak and stilton pie with veg and gravy.Great service, amazing food. Say no more, an absolute must visit.

Delicious! Stopped in here on a cold day and these hot pies are exactly what we needed. I got the steak and ale pie, my husband got the steak pasty. Both were amazing and their home-made chips were the best we've ever had. My husband ordered a local beer and really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and the jolly atmosphere resonated with all the customers. I've never been to a restaurant where a whole roomful of strangers are conversing with each other like we're all friends. Will definitely be back next time we're in town.
