My conveyancer Emily Roche and her team were amazingly prompt with correspondence and replies to any of my silly query. I've almost never had to prompt them, which is shocking in the conveyancing world! I got copied in all the relevant information and documents which help me organise myself.I've actually learned so so much and equipped with a lot of knowledge about the procedure just by liaising with Emily and her team. They pulled off same day exchange and completion smoothly and are a big reason why I'm now sitting happily in my new home writing this review. I cannot recommend Bird and Co enough and have already planned to use their other services myself!

Many thanks to Stuart for assisting in a police matter that would have left me baffled. If you require any assistance with the (worst-rated force by the Independent Office for Police Conduct) Lincolnshire Police, I highly recommend instructing Bird & Co. They were slower to respond to my initial online contact than others, but from Katie who first reached out to me, to Stuart who attended in person, they were by far the most helpful and provided clarity in a situation I was wholly unfamiliar with.

My faith in the legal profession has been restored after having a phone consultation with Paul Hardy. Paul was friendly, helpful, and explained things clearly which gave me confidence that the matter would be concluded effectively. I also feel that I should mention how responsive and flexible Paul is in terms of replying to emails and arranging out of hours contact. I can highly recommend Paul and will use Bird & Co for any future legal work.

I’ll keep it as brief as possible. I paid the agreed fee for the work to be completed 1 month after being given what felt like great advice. 5 months later, having been ignored via email and telephone, the work still had not been started. I was apologised to a few times but still progress was incredibly slow and I wasn’t receiving responses, so I put in a complaint. In short, they advised it would be more complex than originally thought, so they could proceed at a reduced rate due to the time delays, or I could have a partial refund. I took the refund, as by this point I was so disappointed in the company and stressed that I just wanted out. I was given just over a 50% refund which I thought was disgusting. If I can be offered a reduced rate for future work, I could have been offered a reduced rate for the handful of emails and 3 letters that were sent to me. I don’t leave bad reviews but I cannot believe Bird & Co. are allowed to operate in this manner. My complaint was considered finished, with no reassurance that anything had been put in place to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. When people pay for a service, they should receive it, not be ignored and left to make legal decisions alone because they receive no response, during one of the most stresssful periods of their life. Please avoid this company.
