Room and location were great. The staff, not so helpful, I have left something behind in my room after we checked. I have been trying to get it back for the last 2 weeks and they continue to tell me they can’t check for lost property or the room I left my item behind in is ‘occupied’ for over a month. A little bit ridiculous If you ask me, room service goes in every day? I just want my chopping board back

The receptionists provide NO customer service and do not care about visitors' issues, problems, not even responding to basic questions, avoiding eye contact. They are not professionals at all.NO cleaning service in 4 days, dirty floor and full bin. It was very disappointing.I had a random room alarm beeping since 7:30am but the receptionist just noted down the issue and said it happened sometimes in other rooms too and she could not do anything about it. She did not bother to look me in the eyes and say at least sorry

The location was excellent. I walked from Liverpool Street which took under 20 mins. The room was huge and comfortable BUT the sound from outside was very loud. I was on the 2nd floor right at the front. Very clean room.

It was the most amazing stay I have ever had, rooms perfect, top tier, great value for price, the staff were incredibly nice, situated in an amazing part of London. Highly highly recommended to everyone!

What a massive disappointment - rude staff who are not trained to do their job with very poor customer service and the lack of communication from management speaks volumes on how this establishment is run.I stayed here mid October on a business trip from Barcelona. I arrived around midnight, went to check in and the receptionist asked how I’d like to pay. I said there must be a mistake as my company always pays for hotels in advance but he insisted it hadn’t been paid for. I had a booking confirmation and booking code but again he insisted that he was correct. I asked if I could stay the night and my employer would sort it out first thing in the morning as I did not have the funds to cover the cost but he refused.As a young female professional who had just arrived in London for the first time, late at night, after travelling all day, with an important conference the following morning, to be told I could not stay there left me distraught. I cried my eyes out for half an hour in the lobby after being told by the receptionist to ‘step away from the desk’.. I tried calling my managers but I couldnt get through so late at night. I eventually got through to my younger sister in Australia who lent me her card to pay for the hotel.The following morning I had calls and emails from my manager, HR and the third party booking company which my stay had been booked through. They all confirmed my stay HAD been paid for weeks in advance.When I approached the reception to rectify the situation, the new receptionists acknowledged the double payment and apologised saying the other receptionist had made a mistake. I asked to speak to the manager but was told he/she was not available. I asked for their contact information and was told it would be better if I left my email and they would pass it to the manager who would reach out to me. Two days later when I was checking out, I requested the managers contact information again as I still had not been contacted. Despite leaving my contact information, taking the time to write a large review of my experience and sent directly to the manager, I have yet to receive any form of communication from the manager.Upon my return to the hotel on one of the nights I stayed, I encountered the same receptionist from the initial incident. I explained what had happened and presented evidence of the double payment. He still maintained that he had been correct, despite ‘REFUND’ written on my booking file and an apology from the other receptions who confirmed that he had not checked the booking correctly. He offered a cold apology for the considerable inconvenience I experienced.I really would not recommend this place. It put a bad taste on my whole trip to London and very poor performance and lack of professionalism from both staff and management. Massively disappointing.

The room was spacious and the location was very good. However, management and customer service need to be improved. The apartment had the following problems:1. They will not clean your room unless you stay more than 7 days2. You have to wash your towels or order a replacement for the towels in the morning only.3. We tries washing the towels, the apartment did not have detergent and had to ask the front desk (in the morning only).4. we had to ask for the dish washer detergent too (in the morning only)5. You have to take the trash down yourself and out to a next door building.6. If you ran out of stuff, you have to ask for Shampoo, Conditioner, Bodywash, Lotion, Toilet paper, and tissue boxes (in the morning only)7. Although all hotels will allow an extension to your check out, Rockwell East policies that you have to check out at 10:00 am or you will be charged extra fees.8. Whatever you ask the front desk for, they will say sorry we cannot the upper management will not allow.A word to the upper management, or the company, or the owner of the Rockwell East apartments. Your property has a great potential, however you are ruining that opportunity to save few pounds. Change your policies, provide customer service. Give the employees the power to extend until 11:00 am and your place will be busy all year round.

Rooms are clean, the staff was a bit short but helpfull. Its nice that there is a tesco at walking distance but the nearest metro station is 8min walking and its a 20min ride to London central.

Very nice place to stay. Clean, secure, and quiet place to stay. The double studio was huge. Walk from tower hill station wasn't bad at all.The only neg was the lady at the front desk was not friendly at all.Will stay again.Great price.Everything you need in kitchen was provided even a washer/dryer combo.

Great location. Apartments are very well equipped - kitchen with oven, cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge, dishwasher and all needed tableware, pots and pans. Washer-dryer, coffee machine, TV etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Luggage storage and lift are available. Good WiFi ( D 200Mbps / U 30Mbps). Highly recommended.
