Morecambe Bay Foodbank

Morecambe Bay Foodbank is part of Trussel Trust. It is open Tuesday and Friday between 1.00 - 3.00 to supply food for people in crisis. It is worked on a voucher system. It is a charity organisation.

Hard working volunteers doing a fantastic job to support people in the community.

They all do such a great job and make you feel comfortable

I'm a volunteer here, trying to give something back to the community.

Helps when your in a crisis and have no family support to help many thanks

I don't go to the foodbank for myself but the times I've been with others I have been impressed by the volunteers attitude towards the recipients in giving them respect and being friendly. I do however find it a disgrace that so many families have found it necessary to have to go to these places as the rich get richer by their absolute daylight robbery of the people. They are the real parasites who live off the suffering of those in need. But well done to all those who donate or help because of this help wasn't there I suppose they would have to bring the workhouse back or more likely let people die of starvation due to the impossible to survive on benefits system being eroded by those in power who are suppose to protect those who put them there. All they do is protect their own egocentric agenda.

They where great, I suffer with anxiety and they not only noticed but got me seen quickly they where fully supportive.

The food bank is an amazing thing to have in action thanks so much for the help and long may your charity last x
