AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! It was a busy Saturday and I felt very rushed throughout the whole experience - all I wanted was a manicure and pedicure with normal polish, but each employee kept pushing me to have gel nails. I had to politely refuse 5 times! I'm not a fan of shellac. I was asked to move before my nails had dried and because of this my nails were damaged while getting my wallet out of my bag. They then had the cheek to charge me £12 for the manicure even though it states £10 on their board, I was so over it all by then that I paid but did tell them that they should update their board as its illegal to charge one price and display another. I know it's only £2 but it's the principle. I won't be going back to these con artists.

I really would avoid... Asked for a French gel on natural nails (which were quite long) they have been filed right down into the nail bed this is painful. The white lines aren't straight and he proceeded to use his long yellow finger nail to tidy up the edges (wasn't wearing gloves) the base of the nail was covered in a bright pink in no way the shade needed for a French manicure. I called in advance and said specifically on the phone I wanted French gel on natural nails I was told it would be £20 then after completion told it was £25. Will not be visiting again and only wrote this review as people seriously need to know this before they consider getting their nails done here. Really unhygienic.

Afew weeks ago I couldnt get an app in my usual salon and was heading to Trowbridge.Tips and Toes wasnt busy and said within 5mins they could fit me in.I stated clearly I needed acyrlic infills and chose the colour I wanted.It took 20mins and they didnt do half of what my usual salon do.Once finished I went to pay and was told it was £23.Yet on the wall it stated what Id asked for was 15.I questioned this and was told they'd put gel powder ontop.I was not happy atall.Friday I went to my usial salaon and they told me my nails were weak and damaged.They'd all chipped and were breaking.Aplaullimg salaon and jts rude how they talk to one anothet in a language no1 else understands

Horrendous! Didn’t start well when I asked to use the toilet and found a staff member literally eating her lunch next to it. No hand wash or towel in the dirty, mouldy cubicle so god knows how they all wash their hands after the toilet?? Yuk! Anyway. I was then rushed through and the male technician was rough and was filing way too quickly. There was no one waiting so no need at all to rush. He kept rudely accusing me of moving when I hadn’t?! I was beginning to actually feel quite intimidated and uncomfortable. I’ve been having my nails done for 13 years and have NEVER been accused of moving around during the process but he chastised me at least 3 times. He kept pushing me to have a new set and telling me my nails weren’t done well but my usual nail bar is FAR superior to this place. He didn’t let me wash my hands so the dust was still all around the nails and lots missed during the gel colour being applied. I also got told off for taking my hand out of the drier to soon after mistaking him staring me in the eyes as a nonverbal queue! He also rudely told me my hands were dry and because I’m a lady I should be moisturising them....which incidentally I do!! My usual nail bar rubs my nails off to shine them and gives a lovely hand massage to finish so I declined the offer a loyalty card here, as I certainly won’t be back!!!

despicable customer service at trow tips and toes, will never go back there. myself and 3 of my friends went to get a full set of acrylics and the process was rushed and not well done. when the tips of acrylics were put on my nails they were wonky and loose aswell as hurting. i asked for coffin shaped and was hoping they would cut/file the sides symmetrically however they were not and had straight lines and curved ones. my friend was cut with an electric filer which caused her finger and nail to bleed. then they put an ‘acrylic primer’ on the nail which went into the cut and created a burning sensation for her. she also wanted a sprinkle of glitter on one nail which she was told would cost an extra £10 on an already £30 set of nails. when we left the salon she went back to complain about the burning sensation and what to do and was told to put cream on it when she got home. overall, this was the WORST nail appointment i have EVER had.

What an horrendous experience! I left feeling decidedly grubby and couldn't wait to get home and wash my hands.Never in my 68 years have I encountered such dreadful customer treatment in the service industry. It bemuses me why the technician decided to be so hostile and aggressive towards me. I was courteously sympathetic when he proceeded to tell me that he was desperate to get away on holiday but didn't have enough money yet , and that he also had family problems. This statement was immediately followed by a long sales pitch telling me that the gel polish I had had applied at Tips @ Toes last time (by a different technician) was no good and the salon now had a much better, but expensive, product which would be better. I politely said that I wished to remain with my original choice of gel . Not sure if this was the reason that he suddenly switched mood but he started berating me for not holding my hands out correctly. This complaining (at times very vocal) went on for about 5 minutes. Whilst leaning forward I committed the mortal sin of inadvertently letting my right arm slip off the end of the arm rest.I have never witnessed a man with PMS before but it was certainly not an attractive sight! He started shouting at me and accusing me of pushing him when all I did was put my arm back on the table for him to continue. I have been going there for over a year now. I have never had a problem with the people, the price or the Quality of my nails. I consistently see the same guy who does a fantastic job on my nails. Always looks for attention to detail does exactly what I asked for ! Takes his time and never rushes.

Avoid avoid avoid ! Came away with nails filed down to an inch of their life! they have no concern for your nails , not hygienic , the lady before me had her toe nails done, she obviously had some sort of fungal nail issue as the nails were yellow and very thick... the technician was going to use the same file on my fingernails had I not pointed this out! disgusting! Only interested in your money . Not good.

This experience was dreadful, me and my 3 friends waited over 2 hours to get our nails done. They were rough and aggressive. My friend got multiple cuts and the salon proceeded to charge her more than the original price. Her nails were poorly done and not the length she asked for. My nails were extremely wonky and did not have a good enough colour selection to choose from. After we came back to tell them that our nails were badly done and really hurt they told us to put cream on it and sent us away. There were only 2 workers and loads of customers, they obviously rush it and care more about how many customers they get than the quality of the nails. They only put on one coat of polish and it looks really bad.
