Poplar Carpets Rubery

The showroom is bright and you are left to browse. We've had bedroom, landing, stairs and living room carpeted and the fitters arrived early, did the job and left the house clean and tidy. The carpet is good quality and is good value (after having quotes from several places). Would recommend.

Brought carpet not a off cut from the books with top of the range underlay paid over £1000 2 lads came one could not be bothered left his tools under carpet so needed to come back 2nd time and remove I had to call them back 3rd time due to dip in carpet by door when come back it was where the first fitters ripped up tiles and lead to different level in floor came out to sort out I have recently had carpet cleaned and could not understand what was wrong well when lifting carpet only found they have filled the missing tiles with A4 paper making it look like the issue sorted but due to carpet being cleaned paper gets wet and moves the carpet is so poorly fitted all baggie around the edge not stretched very well not professional sad thing is I have always used Polpar carpets but absolutely disgusting how they have filled a gap with paper not sure this is the correct way will never recommend again so mad to find I have a dip filled with a4 paper when I need new carpet it’s going to cost me a fortune to repair the floor that they have ripped up and filled with paper.

Not very pleased with Popular Carpets service, we have lived in Rubery for 40 years and always had Popular, My parents room requires a bit of a re-stretch, which they came out 5 years ago to do (Carpet is approx 10 years old) but maintained brilliantly. Gentleman who i spoke to was so rude, said he wouldn't do it, I even offered to pay but not good enough. Transform Flooring down the road was able to do it for a small price. The lady was so helpful. Sometimes we may not have big jobs all the time, sometimes its the upkeep or maintence we require but they were not interested now that they have big contracts. Funny how businesses don't remember the times you brought business to them during their start up days. Appalling!!!!!

Really lovely shop. Friendly and helpful staff. I believe fitters are employed by poplar rather than contractors and they are far better, more polite and efficient than other carpet shops I have used.

Really pleasant place and in honesty, was given a £650 price in Northfield for a job these guys can do for £440.I much prefer to deal with my own culture, pleasant, friendly and a decent price so thanx guys

I walked into the showroom the staff were very professional helpful and warm they sent a colleague to take measurements of my entire flat they advised me to the best they could, the price was very reasonable. Great service in store from Jordan . Great knowledge of their trade and reasonable prices as well. Had living room, stairs and landing and 3 bedrooms all done in 6 hours by the fitting team. #happycustomer
