I was extremely disappointed to hear that my husband was treated so badly when coming with friends this weekend. Him and his friends were made to feel like thugs that weren't welcome. We are local people who enjoy going to the pubs in the village and never receive a such an unfriendly and judgemental welcome in any of the other pubs. Luckily they managed to get warm welcomes everywhere else.

Great pub and really nice owners. Very welcoming and good to talk too. The pub itself was busy, a nice bunch of punters and good beer, they look after the beer too. No kitchen or pool table (that I saw) but a very good pub to relax and unwind in with good mates. I recommend.

Cracking little boozer. Good beer and Victoria and Mike so friendly. Mike plays the guitar on a Friday night. Throughly enjoyed it

It's such a nice and welcoming pub that has some lovely owners, I do recommend anyone in the area to go to even just for a drink or 2. And it's nice and cheep so there is no excuse not to go

I visited this pub as a total outsider and I had a brilliant evening and I was made very welcome by Mike the landlord and some of the local customers.i Will definitely re visit and I can hand on heart genuinely recommend that you give it a try.
