Bahill Glass

I commissioned Carol to make a stained glass piece featuring fish to replace a frosted glass panel in my bathroom door and I was absolutely delighted with her work. Every day it is a joy to see this beautiful window with the sun streaming through.(The window is featured on this website.)I cannot recommend Carol highly enough.

We have a small butterfly of stained glass which had deteriorated to the state of coming apart. Carol was prepared to take it apart and rebuild it. It is now hanging up again after a number of years. We are extremely happy to have it back in good condition. We would recommend Carol wholeheartedly to anyone.

Carol designed, made and fitted two beautiful large stained glass windows, for inlaying in an internal door. The process was a delight as my sketchy ideas were taken by Carol and crystallised into a wonderful work of art: the colours, shapes and textures are brilliant. Highly recommend!

Carol is a brilliant teacher also patient and helpful and gives assistance when needed. Carol has taught me the skills and techniques of making stained glass windows for my house. I love my hobby which is all down to Carol who has become a friend and mentor. Thank you for everything.

A course in Stained glass was on my bucket list and was so glad I chose Bahill Glass. My weekend course spent with Carol was amazing, it was hard work but so worth the end result. Carol explains things in depth and shows you step by step, allowing you to explore your creative side while guiding you and keeping you safe.I loved the experience and feel confident to try something by myself, and Carol is so nice that I know I could email if I get stuck. She may even see me again as the course was so reasonably priced that I can see me going back for more classes sometime. I strongly recommend this experience.

Carol designed and made an absolutely beautiful roundel for our garden. It was commissioned by my nieces as a gift. The colour of the glass is gorgeous and looks beautiful in the garden. It is a delight to watch the changing light throughout the day illuminate the different facets of the stained glass. The structure of the piece is so well designed and constructed too. Carol has made many other pieces for us and I highly recommend her. Her work is so beautiful and something to enjoy and treasure.

Carol is incredibly talented and has helped our family get the perfect piece of stained glass for what was an awkward and weird spot (for some reason there was a window looking into the bathroom from the hallway). She listened to our desire for something pretty opaque (hence these gorgeous, thick, textured leaf sections), something natural and something with a triptych theme. We ended up hashing out a very stylised view from the intended location as if our home was not there, with colouration and events spreading over Spring, Summer and Autumn and I love it.At every step of the design and implementation she's kept me informed, the good (helping to choose colours from a huge range of beautiful colours) and the bad (for instance we planned for a little red tractor, but the paint just did not show up on the glass panel chosen so we agreed on black and I'm just as happy with that) and she even let me try my hand at cutting some of the glass. Having done some simple squares (ish) for the border I have even more admiration for what she's created here.My photographs really don't do it justice, with the light coming through it glows radiantly and when it's dark it appears as a mosaic and you can really appreciate the depth of the stained glass colours.
