Copnor Road Surgery Part of Derby Road Group Practice

Really helpful If you can get an appointment. I'm currently unable to renew my prescription for antidepressants after trying for a month, leaving me to go gold turkey on medication I shouldn't just stop taking. Receptionist wouldn't give me the time of day. Such a shame that the level of care is this low due to a broken appointment system. *UPDATE* the receptionist has now told my partner to stop taking his mental health medication, instead of helping him get an appointment. This woman is dangerous and I highly recommend avoiding this surgery until someone sees the light and sacks her. We have reported her but to no avail. She should not be in a position to help people with medical needs when her only response is “call back tomorrow at 8am” despite us explaining we work nights, and even when we do call at 8am (on 2hrs sleep) we still get nowhere. We are moving soon because we cannot deal with this lack of care.

I found Copnor Road Surgery to be extremely good. Helpful & friendly receptionist. The Doctor I saw was great. I highly recommend this practice.

I wanted to give an excellent review for the experience at the Copnor Road Surgery today for my elderly mother. The link I was sent for survey feedback unfortunately had expired, but I could not fault the service today so decided to leave this review.Dr Kadapa was so thorough, patient and explained medical data very well . My only concern would be the steep stairs for older patients with mobility issues. The receptionist was very helpful in printing off test documents and booking further tests. I know the NHS is in crisis but staff are doing all they can with very limited resources. Thank you, we appreciate the great service.

This is the best doctors surgery in the whole of Portsmouth. All the doctors are second to none and the nurses and receptionist’s are all great

Outstanding. Receptionists have all been extremely friendly and helpful. Treatments have all been arranged quickly and the doctor I have spoken to has been more than helpful. Quite frankly it has been a huge relief to change to the Copnor Road Surgery. Cannot thank the staff enough for the service.
