We used Tom to design a part single, part double extension with new porch, windows, internal alternations & new external look also for our property in Marlow. Tom's first design was really close to what we wanted with only minimal tweaks after that and he managed the whole planning application process for us too. He offered great advice re lighting. We would definitely use Tom again.

Tom helped develop our initial ideas into a plan which we were really excited about, and then dealt with all the communications and paperwork to gain planning permission. Tom came highly recommended by friends and he did not disappoint! We originally had some ideas of our own but struggled to see past the current layout of the house, Tom came in and gave us a different perspective and we went with it. He talked us through each stage of the planning, supported by introducing us to a Structural Engineer and finally got the planning passed by building regulations. It was such a great experience from the beginning and Tom was very accommodating with a few last minute changes to windows etc. We are looking forward to seeing the drawings become reality.

Tom has been brilliant through every part of the house renovation. At the initial site visit Tom took time to talk to my wife and I about the different lay-out options and incorporated our ideas in to these ideas. We had no problem at all with planning permission as Tom has extensive knowledge of the local area and planning guidelinesThe drawings that Tom produced were clear and precise which is great for the different trades on site. This is helping the build to run very smoothly.We would have no problem recommending McEwen design services and would definitely use them again
