Tick central! Be warned it is known for ticks so make sure to check your dogs upon leaving! Its a lovely place and the view when you first arrive is amazing, very confusing with all the different paths so having the alltrails app is a must.

Beautiful and beautifully quiet place. Great for quite time reading a book, walking the dog or for walking one of the trails. I took the summit walk over the top of the quarry. Once you reach the top the views are quite breathtaking! Would very much recommend to experienced and armature walkers alike. It's a little steep but an easy trail. Allow an hour.

Beautiful view on Morecambe , Carnforth and other towns, quiet place ,nice for walk , if you need to be close to nature and relax it is a right place for you. Parking is free, perfect walk for a any age groups as there is a few type of route. On the bottom before nature park there is a small coffee shop .

I love this place, free parking and free to enjoy.TIP: have the AllTrails app the first time to help you orientate yourself. Although it's not giant (but bigger than you think!) you can end up walking in circles (talking from experience!)There's different routes for a decent leg stretch and easier tracks. Good for kids to explore but not prams or accessibily friendly because it's all natural trails (no wooden flat walkways etc) views are amazing! Can see for miles !Even when it's busy" you don't often bump into people or feel crowded. There are sometimes cows grazing so dogs can go but need to be kept on leads."

We stumbled across this place while driving past and went for a short walk. You could choose a short route or a long hike. Free parking and free entry. Would recommend!

What an amazing view you get on top of Warton Quarry (Crag) looking across at Morecambe Bay and Ingleborough.

Very little effort to get to the top for great views across Morecambe Bay to the west, Warton and Yorkshire to the east, Carnforth, Lancaster and Morecambe to the south and the Lake District to the north. Popular with dog walkers and on my recent visit, rock climbers which I thought were banned but they looked like they knew what they were doing! Gentle circular walk with a little rock clambering 90mins. Decent footwear recommended!

Park in the quarry where you can picnic or give dogs a short flat walk. Head up to the top for great views across Morecambe Bay and over to the hills of the Lake District. Walk up can be slippery but is not too arduous.

Went for a walk with a friend. She's been before and generally knew her way around. However, the path / track / route is fairly clear for almost all of the circuit.Dispite the poor weather conditions, there were a few nice views plus interesting flora and fauna along the route. If I return, it'll be in spring or summer.
