Just bought the most amazing car from Romans. Not their usual type of sale, but an immaculate 1974 Triumph TR6. I've been looking for this car a long time, and this was well worth the wait.A superbly looked after car very well presented by Kai at Romans.Really easy to deal with, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Romans is an excellent dealership. I was looked after by Kai, who was very responsive and helpful, which was useful as I live overseas and was buying the car with only the benefit of photos, a short video and the RAC report that Romans offer with every car. I would definitely recommend them and will certainly use them again if I am in the market for a luxury vehicle.

I was apprehensive about buying a car at this level for the first time, and about doing so outside the franchised dealer network. However both Kai and David were friendly and reassuring from the moment I walked through the door.They were always available to talk and were effective in resolving the concerns I had about the car pre-sale. They were happy to take and fetch the car to and from a franchised dealership for an independent inspection. Notably, points which we'd agreed verbally were swiftly confirmed in writing and were then all carried out promptly, nothing got 'forgotten'.My new car is a really nice example, and I'm delighted with it. So based on my own experience, I would recommend buying from Romans.

We have owned performance cars for over 35 years changing them every two to three years. Looking for a Porsche 911 two and a half years years ago I found the ideal car at Romans. It was a rare Graphite Blue, had low mileage, competitively priced and looked stunning.We arranged a test drive and David explained its history. Buying it was a no brainer. Over the time we owned the car Romans gave us huge support - answering any queries, arranging services, free MOT. We always were welcomed, nothing too much trouble.Time to change the car we went straight back to Romans. John, the owner, gave us a great trade in price and we bought a Porsche 992 convertible. A fabulous car! It was delivered to us in a special trailer and rolled out spotless.Once you buy from Romans you feel part of a family. We will not go anywhere else to buy a performance car

Excellent service from start to finish at Romans.I dealt with David and John mostly and they were very helpful in every way possible.They went above and beyond to accommodate all my needs having turned up at short notice on both my visits to view my Ferrari F430 Spider, they were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions with ease and went out there way to get information I requested.I had a specific day I could get down to collect my car and they really went out of there way to make that happen keeping in constant contact thoughout.100% recommend I traveled the length of the country to get my car from Romans and it was worth it. Found the car I was looking for by just driving past these guys in StAlbans, stopped off and Kai was incredibly helpful and friendly! Pleasant and easy transaction and within a week I was out test driving it! After doing the deal Kai was also happy to deliver my new toy to me! Incredible customer service and great after sale care. Even had a courtesy call from Kai to make sure I was still happy after my first weekend with the car. If you’re looking for something special go visit Romans. You could do a lot worse! Great service with very friendly staff If you are in the market for an exotic car they should be your first port of call.I would not hesitate in recommending to anyone.UpdateHaving taken the Cayman S (981) to a Porsche specialist a number of faults that were not obvious but were on the car when it was sold to me, the most worrying of which was a snapped rear suspension brace bolt that rather than replace had just been zip tied in place making the car dangerous to drive. In the first instance I rang the dealer only to be told to claim on the warranty however when I tried to do this the third party warranty provider refused to cover the cost. In light of this I would say that although initially the sales team seems very helpful I would advise anyone to avoid this garage at all costs.

I Sold my 2022 plate Porsche Macan to Dave at Romans today and would like to say that the experience was second to none. They gave me a very fair price over the phone, I drove the car over to Romans, Dave checked the car over, had a test drive and completed the sales paperwork. Within an hour the full payment was in my bank account. First class service.I will definitely be contacting Romans again when we are ready to sell our new car.
