We just back from a lovely week at The Pretty Thing. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely go back. There’s about 6/7 showers and toilets which I know is quite a few for a small site and they were always clean. It was nice and quiet which is something we love. The owners were great and very approachable. They were very helpful and always happy to chat. You can get to a beach or shop within a 10 minute drive including beaches that you can take a dog to all year round. The dog does have to be on a lead but there are signs up everywhere telling you this and nothing unusual about this rule on any campsite. We used ‘George’s’ cafe at the weekend and found the food to be tasty and hot. The pitch sizes I felt were quite large and very adequate. I would recommend this place to all our friends and family as a nice quiet, relaxed place for a break away. Thankyou for having us :))

Lovely few nights staying in a dog friendly bell tent, arrived Wednesday and was nice and quiet. By Friday there were more arrivals so was less quiet!!! But a lovely clean campsite with good amenities.

We booked a glamping experience with our friends to the resort but was sadly unable to attend due to a covid related issue in the family. We was we would be able to rebook for the following year which we was happy with so did not request a refund which was quite pricey for a few nights. When we contacted them again about rebooking a few months later our messages were ignored and now our friend who booked it messages are being ignored too. Our request for a refund is also ignored. Please be careful when booking here. Friendly enough people but please watch your money with them. My daughter was upset when she couldn’t go and now she has been upset a second time by the fact they will not hour our fully paid booking.

We were 2 couples, we had a pod and a glamping tent. They were super nice, super clean. The spot is great. We didn't know but the pods have bbq, next time will definitely cook there. We rented a fire pit, and can buy wood there for 5£.the toilets very nice and clean. The tent was very cold at night, however with the duvet and blanket you're fine, and then quite hot in the morning.

AMAZING. Couldn't recommend highly enough. We took our kids on their first camping trip here, we went for 2 weeks - mad I know! We had drama on the way when our roof box broke and we lost some items including an air bed but they were so kind and helpful. They immediately gave us a spare one and even blew it up for us. The amenities are immaculate and so clean. I appreciate that they even have a parent/child shower which made it easier to shower the kids. I didn't ever que to use the amenities as there is plenty. The play area with stone pit was perfect for my 3 year old who loves to dig in stones. As tent users with kids, it was so beneficial that they have a communal fridge/freezer and an extension cord you can use to charge anything up. We also ate in the cafe and it was lovely. If you have any problems, they are quick to answer the phone and help. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. We will be going back again for sure.

This camping is one of the better camping's out there! The service is amazing and the rooms are just like little hotel rooms in a tent. There is enough place for kids and if your pets want to come along its also perfect!A special dog tent for dog owners is made and there is even a little place for him to lay down. I would highly recommend this to any dog/pet owners!A big thank you for the owners that run the business here, i had a great time visiting as a guest!
