Advice from a previous employee (who was under the impression they resigned on good terms...);Future employees, customers, work providers and suppliers beware.... do your research thoroughly before commencing any kind of professional or consumer relationship with Carmeleon. Read the reviews. Search the directorships held under the owners name. Reach out to other suppliers in the industry. You'll find all you need to know to make an informed decision.EDIT: In light of the owners response, bear in mind he is under investigation for fraud with previous work providers. This person is a professional conman and I was unfortunate enough to become entangled within this business and have apparently now been publicly used as a scapegoat to cover his malpractices. My advice is simply provided so that no-one else finds themselves in my position; employees, work providers and suppliers alike. This is not the forum to air his dirty laundry, but be sure... it's there; and you don't need to look hard to find it.So I say it again, do your research before commencing a professional or consumer relationship with any company under the directorship of Simon Creamer.

My son got his alloys refurbished and re sprayed.Simon kept in contact with us from start to finish.Fantastic job and the turn around for this work was quicker than expected.Would highly recommend Simon and his team.

Absolutely shocking! They handed my car back after having it five days. It was dirty, and they even forgot to put the screws back into place. So had to phone insurance and get a Premium dealership to fix their unsafe work. Oh and they don’t offer Courtesy cars to customers that have bookings in advance. Keep clear of this Garage.

I do not recommend it. The car has no protection. Everything is covered with overspray. Lost wheel bolt, threshold under the door not hardened, soft like a sponge. I can say that there is no contact with the service department. Never again.

Great job wheels look brand new also great service car was dropped back to my home address after the work was completed, also excellent price for the work finished to a very high standard.Thanks again will definitely recommend.

Overall very happy with the work carried out. Done to a high standard and in a timely manner - door painted and blended in 2 days.I urge you all to ignore the stupid and incorrect bad reviews as the people who have posted them are clearly just thick and have no idea what a good business looks like and have nothing better to do than to raise pointless and irrelevant points/reviews about a very good business!One small criticism which i can see has been mentioned before and this comment should be noted is that there was a fair amount of dust in my car when I picked it up. Obviously a paint shop is a dusty environment and dust will get in the car through normal operations so I urge the owner to take note and try to improve upon the handover of the cars to the customer. The service from the staff was excellent and as mentioned the quality is very good but the 5th star would be earned if the car was given a quick hoover and clean to remove the dust that they have introduced into the car. Obviously no one is expecting a full valet everytime their car is in but a quick hoover and dust removal would definitely improve the service to the 5 stars.Will be back!

I had my car collected by carmeleon through my insurance company. I required repairs from a small accident. The quality of work looks good on initial inspection however like other reviews recieved the car back with dust throughout the interior and dirty foot prints in the drivers side carpets. It had also been driven from the workshop back to endinburgh with a tyre pressure warning. I had to inflate the tyre before I could drive home. The work shop really should have resolved this before driving 60 miles in my car. I thought the girl that called to make arrangements for collecting my car and then returning it was very friendly and helpful.

I can't comment on how good the work that they do is as I was collecting a car on behalf of a customer.But what I can say is that the service is horrendous it seems the staff are clueless because the management are useless nobody knows what the other is doing.I was to collect a car but was told I couldn't had to spend the night in a hotel then came the next day to collect and had to wait another 4 hours for the car with no excuse or apology.Also I have no idea what happened in those toilets but it looked like someone had been cleaning livestock in them!

They done some bodywork on the car sent it back without a working sidelight, when I told them about it they sent a delivery driver with the bulb. I asked so your a technician, your going to change the light. His answer I'm a lorry driver not a fitter,spoke to motobility they sent me to frf all done in 20 minutes. Don't know if they still do motobility work but I'd genuinely be surprised if they do
