Ordered a burger from here and it was without doubt the worst I've ever seen. £10 for a burger made with the cheapest most processed meat I've seen,like 2 bits of rubber,get better frozen patties out of Iceland. Disgusting

Been contacting for over 2 weeks regarding a refund of a cancelled booking that yous cancelled and nobody can even bother getting back to me absolutely shocking customer service I am appalled, being a business owner myself I would never treat my customers like this! Had to lose out on our gig tickets due to yous cancelling our booking so not only out of £85 for my room out another £50 for our gig tickets!!! Will not be recommending this hotel that’s for sure! Have now blocked me on Facebook and won’t answer my phone calls, it’s an absolute disgrace.

This place has just been taken over by a lovely Gent. We went for brunch. The all day breakfast was the best I've had in a while. For £7.99 you get 2 sausage, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 hash Brown's, black pudding, grilled tomato, beans & 2 eggs plus 2 slice of toast. We'll worth it. The proprietor was very friendly, great service & good choice on menu.

Service was absolutely abominable very very poor service we arrived at 18.30 didn't get drinks order taken fir 15mins didn't get our main courses till 20.15 service was shocking

I would vote 0 stars if it was possible. I cancelled my stay with the hotel via email. I then noticed I had been charged so called the hotel and was assured I would be refunded. I was and then a month or so later another transaction has left my account.I am now out of pocket and fed up phoning about the same issue.

Best Indian we’ve had in forever. We had the chicken korma, chicken tikka, pilau rice and a giant garlic Naan bread. Everything was spot on, seasoning, flavour, the cook of the chicken was perfect and not dry like other takeaways we’ve had. Had it to takeaway and it was ready for pick up when they said. Happy to support a local business and will 100% be back.

Booked our September stay in July.Received an email 2 days before the stay to say we had cancelled it but we clearly hadn't. When I called I was informed the rooms were being refurbished. Full payment taken from my account 6 weeks ago and not repaid. In a telephone conversation this week I was told the refund will take 10 working days. That's now 8 weeks I'm out of pocket. Does no one check the accounts and wonder why money is being paid in when the hotel is closed??Update... 10 working days from date of cancelled stay... Still no refund nor explanatory communication from hotel.Update 23rd November. The Maltings still have not refunded my money and are disputing their cancellation of my booking. Disgusting.
