Pen y Fedw is a wonderful place to get away from it all, we didn't miss not having wifi at all.The cabin is comfortable, warm and tastefully finished (and spotless!). The kitchen was well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed the foodie hamper- Sharon brought us home made scones on our first day which were to die for! The hot tub was perfect to soak in at the end of a long day's walk. We didn't mind that we couldn't drink in the hot tub as we are not big drinkers.Sharon and David were fantastic hosts, they were welcoming and friendly and gave us lots of tips for food and walks nearby. We were fascinated by their stories and the history of the log cabin!The walks nearby are breathtaking- recommend planning your walks/ days out in advance and following Sharon's advice on directions to the cabin ( you can only get signal in nearby towns).Such a beautiful place to visit and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Sharon and David were impeccable hosts and very down to earth. The hot tub was fabulous and we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back soon and be recommending it to friends and family who are looking for the ideal getaway. I love my iPhone and iPad but honestly didn’t miss having signal or WiFi. It was excellent the cabin is perfect for a couple. Warm cosy and a great night sleep after chilling in the hot tub too. The area is perfect to relax and explore Wales and I could not fault the hosts even helping to arrange a taxi back from a local pub that had amazing food. Would definitely recommend you visit. You will not regret it and will want to come back. Could not have been more perfect if they tried. Absolutely stunning views with the perfect , cosy quaint cottage for the picturess getaway. The wildlife alone at the property was incredible and the serenity of the cottage it was bliss. After climbing Snowdon on one of the days relaxing in the hot tub was perfect to finish off the day. With fantastic walks on the door step and short drive away could not recommend this place enough. A beautiful place to chill and enjoy the quiet time. Plenty of places to go and walks to do.
