Woodland Manor Hotel & Restaurant

Stayed at hotel for several years now for local Twinwood Festival. Staff have always been attentive and keen to help. Food at breakfast and in bar has always been great . Our room has always been clean and tidy with great views. Would suggest a bounce back discount like Best Western hotels if you keep returning you get a discount. But no faults anytime we have stayed. Highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful hotel in a lovely location can't fault it. Room nice and cleanOnly problem we had was service at breakfast it doesn't really exist, breakfast order taken, breakfast served that was it, no staff came to clear plates away, children had cereals, bowl's left cereal packaging not taken away, in front of them while they had toast in the end we moved dirty plates to an empty table. Milk in jug ran out we had to go looking for a member of staff to refill. Staff should be checking and replenishing before customers need that is 5 Star service.

Had Afternoon Tea here for my mums birthday. The staff were amazing and made it extra special for my mum. Lovely Christmas decorations, delicious food and great selection of tea. Thank you!!

Had a lovely stay at this hotel, whilst the rooms are a little dated, the room I stayed in was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy. But for me it was each and every one of the staff I met during my stay that made my stay so pleasant here, they were all friendly and helpful.I enjoyed a very lovely burger and fries for dinner, hmmm perhaps worth coming to stay here again just so I can enjoy again!! Breakfast was also really tasty and the team were kind enough to let me custom my order and prepared freshly, really great service from the lovely lady who was serving us on Wednesday morning, she's a gem.If and when i need to come back to the area, I would have no hesitation in staying here again (I think the burger and fries won we over!). The hotel is ideally located not far from Bedford Rail station and the town centre and i have no hesitation in recommending this hotel if you are in the area.My thanks again to all the team at the hotel for their attentive and friendly service and for a very pleasant stay.

Really lovely hotel in a superb location. Rooms are very comfortable and very clean. Staff were very friendly in particular the Reception staff. Good car parking. Food and drink were good value for money and food was delicious.

In general we enjoyed our overnight stay at Woodlands however there were a couple of things worthy of note...our room (19) was very small and the bed was not particularly comfortable we tried to open the main window for some fresh air but the window would not stay open. As we are both in our 70's we found getting in and out of the over bath shower a little difficult and there were no safety handles to assist. Our evening meal was Ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful if a little slow serving us. The main critique would be the lack of atmosphere in the bar area, it looked more like a school dining room than a relaxing place to have a drink

Stay here for a friend wedding and the venue and location was lovelyShame I cannot say the same for the 'room' we stayed inThe 'room' was no more than a out dated store cupboard that had been converted into a 'room'There was mould all around the bath, grout missing from the tiles, marks all over the walls, burn mark on the tea tray & the damp musty smell wasn't exactly pleasant, no natural light as the tiny window was blacked out and I could go onFor the money we paid to stay here it was definitely not worth it !Then as part of the wedding party we were told on checkin that breakfast would of been free if I called and booked with them but as I went online they wanted £30Why even go through that ? - the girl on reception was like a bunny in head lightsRooms needs a major update and staff could do with some etiquette training

Our room was spacious beds comfortable and bathroom pleasing.....Although a little dated the room had received a makeover fairly recently.... Quiet. A dirty glass was replaced promptly and a large fan provided as it was a warm night.Staff very pleasant and we enjoyed a few late, or early drinks at the bar.Breakfast was adequate but the continental table was a bit scant...Overall good value and we would return

We went for afternoon tea, and it wasn't bad, but not wow. Sandwiches were so plain and flavourless that I could have made better myself. The tea and coffee was very poor too, service was good and lovely staff. The room could do with a clean as there were cobwebs all over the windows.

We had our wedding at Woodland Manor Hotel in May 2023. Tiffany was absolutely fantastic in every way, and especially in terms of organising what we wanted where and when, and the team couldn't have done more for us on the day.It is a beautiful venue with great travel links (Nearby Bedford station) and we have fantastic memories of our day. Would recommend it to other couples in a heartbeat; food, service and the venue was perfection. Thanks again! Mr and Mrs Park
