Zara's a perfect mix of professionalism and friendliness, you get an instinctive feeling that she cares about you, and I always felt at ease during her appointments. I had my fair share of problems, and initially I had a deep clean - others had told me they were a little nervous of that treatment - but Zara's work was very thorough, yet at the same time totally gentle. Since then my oral health has improved so much. I have regular check ups and light cleans now - this combined with her constant good advice has given my mouth a new lease of life. Can't recommend her enough!

Zara is hands down the absolute best dental hygienist in London. I have been very nervous about dental treatments for years- until I met Zara. She is the most gentle and professional (watch out she will give you homework!) hygienist I have ever met. Hard to believe but I actually look forward to my visits! Every session with Zara has been excellent and has changed my view towards hygiene appointment completely. I had always thought hygiene sessions are painful and a bit scary, but with her, that’s no longer the case! She is very thorough, knowledgeable and informative, with great eye for detail, and makes sure that I’m comfortable throughout the session. I have had a number of excellent hygienists but none in the league of Zara Shirvani . Most hygienists, however careful, cause an element of discomfort: you would say it was inevitable until you were treated by Zara who makes the whole experience not only painless but enjoyable. She has the gift of putting patients at their ease, so one is totally relaxed before the treatment starts. She is a science graduate, and highly intelligent, so is able to tell the patient, in exact detail, how to deal with any problems. If you think that you have maintained a high standard of oral hygiene before coming to her, you will find that Zara improves it a hundredfold: the result is a general improvement in health and well-being. She truly has the healing art.
