Five Guys Gloucester Quays
For quite some time, I have heard the hype about 5 guys, So as a new person to the experience, I ordered, then was asked what extra toppings I wanted, as if I was to automatically know.I ordered a cheeseburger chips and a drink, quality was very good, and this was a birthday treat for my son. But OMG The price......£16 for a cheeseburger chips and drink. Just 1, a that price, I would expect a lot more. Tasty, yes, but exceeding expensive.

First time here too and really enjoyed it. Tasty burger and lovely milk shake. Quite expensive for a fast food establishment but definitely a step up. Can highly recommend the Biscoff Milkshake.

Our friends suggested stopping off here on our way home from Green Man. I had assumed that Five Guys was just another generic burger franchise. It’s not. They’ve got their own un-fussy decor, very simple menu, very generous portions, and very helpful and friendly staff. If you want a delicious, dirty, American style hamburger with all the toppings you like, and a tonne of fries, and a bottomless soft drink or a thick indulgent milkshake, this is the place.NB no veggie burgers here!

Way too expensive still. Food is nice though and the shakes are to die for.To give you a rough idea of prices.... £9 for a cheese burger, £7 for a little cheese burger, £6 for a hotdog, £4 for regular fries, £4 for refillable soft drink and £6 for a milkshake. Obviously there are more expensive options too.Freestyle machine needed cartridges changing as there were a few flavours not available. My kids love orange fanta and there was none except fanta zero available.Chips weren't exactly warm but there were plenty for 3 of us to share. If it was more affordable you'd make regular customers out of a lot of people.Very quiet and a few tables used and only the odd one or two to choose to sit at.Didn't take that long to be prepared. In fact, food was ready before shakes.Burgers are good, optional toppings are free.Five guys need to work on more sustainable packaging. Using foil to wrap burgers and hotdogs must be expensive but also not ideal for the environment. Even setting up a bin system where the foil, lids, cardboard cups and straws could be recycled like dare I say it McDonalds do and Burger King with their attempts at reusable packaging.

Took my son to Five Guys at Gloucester Quays on a Weds lunchtime during the school hols. Despite the Quays being busy Five Guys was pretty much deserted save for one guy and two young kids.I ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks, the bill came to nigh on £35. Don't know how the guy behind the counter kept a straight face when telling me the costWe waited around 8 mins for the food until my number was called. Our food was dumped on the counter in a brown paper bag. When opened the bag revealed the 2 cheese burgers in silver foil , a paper drink cup filled with fries and the other portion of fries had just been chucked in the bag!The cheeseburgers were a soggy mess of an affair and the melted cheese was stuck to the foil. The fries had way too much salt on them.Appalling for what you pay. We won't be returning to Five Guys ever again.Little wonder why it was so quiet at lunchtime.

Ordered a delivery through just eat. Just eat cancelled the order for some reason whilst still giving five guys the money. I called the restaurant and they told me it’s still an active order on the system and the food is ready just waiting for a driver. Five guys then called me back saying the driver had not shown. I drove down to the restaurant to receive my food and was not only greeted kindly, was told that I would have to wait just 2 more minutes as they have re-cooked my order as an apology. This is the best customer service I have received within the food industry. Not only did they call me when the driver hadn’t shown, they gave me fresh food as an apology, even though they didn’t have anything to apologise for. (Other places would’ve given somebody the order that’s been sat for a while). When I got home the food was delicious.Customer service like this goes a million miles and is very rare to find. Thanks again to all of the staff there especially the person I spoke to on the phone.

Worst service in Gloucester! Ordered delivery, and the burger had no seasoning at all, tasted like water. Chips were tossed freely in to the whole bag and had tons of salt. No sauces given either. Shame. Change the 5 guys to any other guys.

All the staff very friendly, just ridiculously expensive. Burgers for 10.95 aren't massive. However, they are very good quality and tasty. Just £40 for 2 burgers 1 chips ans 2 milkshakes is quite alot.

I eat the vegetarian option about 90% of the time. So when it's time for a burger it's GOT o be GOOD. And Five Guys is my new favourite for a great burger. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly, and those burgers are delicious!
