From the first time we contacted Connor, both my husband and I were impressed with his professionalism. We were quite vague with our plans but he made suggestions re the layout, the materials and the colours for our two patios and as a result our garden was transformed in just over a week. Everything Connor organised, happened on time, therefore there were no delays at all.Connor, together with his two colleagues Justin and Martin, were extremely hard working during the time they were with us. It was a pleasure to spend time with them all. Maisie our Labrador enjoyed their company and also Martin’s lunch which she stole the second day he was with us! Our garden is fabulous thanks to Connor and his team - new patio with raised beds and flower border, steps to a lower patio with balustrade as recommended by Connor. He has an eye for garden design and what will look good where. The team were great and the price was very competitive - all good. Highly recommended.

We engaged Connor Toms-Irving and Monmouthshire Landscapes to completely redesign our back garden following a building project which had left it in a complete mess. Connor was involved throughout the project from helping us to define the budget, working with us to come up with the design, performing the hard landscaping, planning the planting, and delivering the finished garden. We had a general idea about what we wanted, but not a clear picture in our minds. Connor’s cooperative and flexible way of working allowed us to continually refine the design whilst staying within budget. Some of the most successful parts of the garden – the hardstanding for a pergola, handmade oil tank screen and large rock feature – weren’t part of our initial thoughts but Connor’s willingness to adapt the design as we went along and to make excellent design suggestions was key to the overall success of the garden. The entire team - Connor, Julian, and Nick – were extremely friendly and hard-working and were a pleasure to have on site.Monmouthshire Landscapes offer a complete service encompassing garden design, hard landscaping, planting, paving and so on. If there are specialist trades that they don’t offer, such as electrical work, then they’re happy to work with the client’s own team (as in our case) or suggest people that they have worked with in the past. Until we watched programmes like “Your Garden Made Perfect” we didn’t fully appreciate how big a budget you need to completely rework a large garden like ours. For a fraction of the budget, Connor and his team have delivered a stunning garden which completely suits our needs. We are delighted with the results and would wholeheartedly recommend Monmouthshire Landscapes.

We engaged with Monmouthshire Landscapes to carry out various works in our garden. This included some levelling out, fencing, raised beds, concrete base for summer house and artificial grass. Connor and Julian are hard working, friendly, very helpful and all of their work is of an excellent standard. When we weren't quite sure exactly what we wanted Connor was always keen to offer his expert opinion which we were happy to take on board and making small changes as the works progressed was never too much trouble. Having moved into our new build, the back garden was best described as a muddy slope with a small bizarrely shaped patio. Connor listened to our idea of what we were after and made some suggestions which we took onboard. Patio was replaced with a larger version in Indian sandstone which gave us a much more usable space.The garden was terraced using sleepers and a path and steps were put in. A pond was dug in and a concrete base for a shed laid. Turf was laid to finish things off.Connor and Julian we an absolute pleasure to work with - hardworking, friendly and professional. Very tidy workers as well. They were always punctual and communications were great. Can highly recommend Monmouthshire Landscapes.

Fantastic service from Connor and his team. All our requests were met and where needed expert advice was provided which was really appreciated. The jobs undertaken included replacing and extending patio areas and paths, raising the level of the garden, adding fencing, gates and low maintenance raised beds.The work was completed to a very high standard and there were no surprises with cost due to a running invoice from our initial quote, which we paid off incrementally as the work was carried out, making everything simple and transparent. The project was undertaken flawlessly, and all our requests were met, nothing was too much of an ask.Connor works with a fantastic team who are all professional, friendly and very hard working, a pleasure to have around. Connor and Julian were a pleasure to have working for us. Very respectful and friendly people and hard working. They transformed a corner of our garden with raised beds, leveling for gravel parking, took down an old conifer that had become too big and sleeper edging. They also replaced a section of fencing. We are very happy with our new, very usable space.

Connor and Julian worked on building a large raised timber bed sleeper in our garden, whilst also laying Indian Sandstone patio in previously unused areas of our garden. From start to finish Connor was great to work with, very professional and attentive to what we wanted to do, also suggesting some small enhancements to make the design work better. As a team Connor and Julian were great to have on our property, very polite and kept the driveway and garden as tidy as they could, and really nice guys.Overall I'm delighted with the end result of the garden, and would thoroughly recommend the guys if anyone was looking for a Landscaping company!
