Damian Carberry Express Alterations & Tailors

Brought in my new branded jeans to have it taken up, was able to collect it within 2 hours. Speedy quality service, reasonable price and Damian was very lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Formal long black dress for my daughter needed a complete re-fit at the back of it for a black-tie event. The dress looked great from the front but fitted very poorly at the back, there was too much material. We had a 24 hour turn around for this task due to the late delivery of the dress. I read the online reviews for Damian and just knew he was the bespoke tailor for this challenge. I was not wrong! What an amazing tailor he is, he did his apprenticeship at Savile Row, and watching him at work was a marvel. He knew exactly what to do, cut out the extra material, took away excess pleats at the back and made the dress fit like a glove. All this achieved for a next morning pick up where he double checked the fit. Excellent value for money and I believe we would have been able to pick it up the same day. I really cannot recommend Damian enough. A master tailor!

Damian was so kind and helpful to me. His service was very quick - I picked the dress up the next day and it was just what I needed - he altered some straps for me. Damian had a warm heart and gave a service with a smile! I will definitely be going back when I need alterations again. Thank you.

Took a NF jacket and fleece in for alteration/repairs. Fantastic tailoring work by Damian. Also an absolute gentleman who clearly cares about his customers. Spent some time chatting to him about his past in London and he has loads of interesting stories to share. Recommended and will go back again.

I took a raincoat to have the sleeves shortened. The ends were ragged. Damian did a fantastic job to rescue the coat. The sleeve is perfect. The coat looks like new. He cleverly moved buttons to give the sleeves a stylish look. His sewing was excellent. I highly recommend Damian for such alterations.

Damien has altered a couple of items for me now and I would not go anywhere else. Most importantly he does an amazing job and is very skilled at what he does, having had some bad experiences his service is priceless. Although, his prices are more than reasonable! He works quickly and has items ready when requested or before! He is a great character with a brilliant sense of humour and he always makes me laugh. All round excellent service, I cannot recommend him enough.

I needed a bridesmaid dress taking up with fairly short notice and was recommended Damian by several people. He did a perfect job for a very reasonable price and in super quick time - even with bank holidays.
