Ive never found a problem with the owners always found them to be pleasant and helpful and reasonably priced

Marcus & Mike never fail to deliver top quality delicious fish. I've had Sea Bass, Cod, Scallops, Mackerel & Monkfish so far and all of them have been delicious and bone free!They really know their fish and are more than happy to share their knowledge on how to cook, prepare and serve if you aren't too sure.I really enjoy shopping here, not just for the quality of the fish, but also to chat and have a laugh with these friendly guys!

I can't help but disagree with the previous comment I find them very helpful and have been using this shop for years and will continue to do so. Very courteous and helpful in my opinion.

I have always found the owner ( now retired) to be the most polite and kind man, and this shop a pleasure to shop in, the fish always was good, however the son now runs the business and I'm afraid he does not have his father's way with customers. I found him quite rude when I shopped there before Christmas so I am sorry to say I will no longer get my fish/game from this establishment and will try another locally.Such a shame.

The best fish monger and game shop by far .I travelled from Breadsall Derby because its that good, the owner is a great guy very friendly and helpful i could of talked to him all-day and the game is just yum so fresh.

Hi, I know the fish shop well and Mick laughs and jokes with vertually all his customers. I can only assume the negative review is from someone who had a bit of an attitude and Mick in his way tried to laugh the situation off.With modern technology review submissions are anonymous and it makes some people very brave saying things that they would never say normally.Both Mick & Marcus do their best to help & would do anything to assist their customer.Final point - the anonymous person said he would not go back - I am sure if Mick knew who he was then I assume Mick would not particularly want him in his shop anyway!

Excellent quality and service

Can I say that I've only recently met Mick the owner, after Refurbishing the shower room in the next door flat. I can honestly say I found them both very helpful & polite. I will start buying more produce from Mick because its important to support our local shops.
