Window to the Womb Belfast

I was very disappointed with our experience at Window to Womb. The clinic itself is lovely and the staff who greeted us at the door were very friendly. However once we were in the room to be scanned it was not so good of an experience. During the scan we were told that they were unable to see anything and there were concerns of an ectopic pregnancy, a pregnancy that has stopped developing or it was to early to see anything (we are 6+1). As this is our first pregnancy this caused absolute heartache and distress. They explained we would be referred as a pregnancy with unknown location and our local hospital would contact us this week. As we were completely devastated we decided to attend our local ED for further clarification. 4 hours and multiple tests later - we were scanned and have a perfect sac with a fetus that’s developing the way it should be and a flicker of a heartbeat was also visible. I appreciate and we were explained that within a hospital setting further test such as urine and blood can be run. However it’s disappointing that what we saw on the scan after hours of heartache and confusion could not be picked up using the same equipment that morning.

We had a lovely experience this morning at an early reassurance scan! We had 4 different private scans with our first daughter and we are looking forward to having more here throughout my second pregnancy. The staff couldn’t be nicer and they are very knowledgeable.

My husband and I can't fault WTTW. We have been for our early scan, a gender scan (+ free rescan due to baby lying in an awkward position, which thankfully WTTW offer) and now our 4D scan and each experience we were welcomed and treated brilliantly. The building is clean and homely and the girls who work there are so lovely and answered any questions we had. Each scan was explained thoroughly so we knew exactly what we were looking at. We felt relaxed which was important to me too. I will be recommending to any mamas I know! Thanks again x

Been for all my pregnancies. Can't reccomend them anymore. They made us feel so welcomed and relaxed. They told us everything that they seen. Staff are lovely. I tell all my pregnant friends and clients to try them x

Received an early reassurance scan a few weeks ago here with baby no.2! I received 3 scans throughout my first pregnancy and knew I was going here the 2nd time round! Amazing girls, and a beautiful clinic.

The best place to go for a scan. We tried a couple of places and instantly loved Window to the Womb in Belfast. The place is clean, spacious and the staff are nice and friendly. The check in process is easy when you arrive and you are not kept waiting. The staff doing the scan are informative, friendly and professional. The tv screens around the room is the best feature for myself and guests to see. Then the final touch of purchasing a cuddly toy and there is a good few to chose from. Please book and go and see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!

We went to window to the womb for an early pregnancy scan and felt really upset by the lack of tact and empathy. I was told that I had a whopper of a cyst" and with disbelief and stomach prodding "how could I not tell"? I'm sure lots of people have lovely experiences at WTTW when everything is fine with their baby however there was no kindness or empathy in how we were treated. I appreciate that the scanner might deliver bad news daily but if you're that hardened to it then you perhaps have compassion fatigue and it's maybe time to take a break. I would recommend some training for the staff on dealing with pregnancy problems in an empathetuc way. I'm a resilient person

I’ve had a few scans with window to the womb Belfast and they have been absolutely fantastic. Each time I have been treated with the upmost respect and dignity and everyone has been really friendly. The sonographers are so knowledgable and fantastic at their jobs as well. I will definitely be using their services again.

I couldn’t recommend window to the womb enough. We booked a scan at 22 weeks to find out what we were having. The lady who did our scan was so nice and made us feel so special. It is a moment we won’t forget.
