May I start by saying this is the first time I have ever posted a review but I feel so strongly about the quality of our meal. We were recomended this takeaway by friends, the premises were clean open and very inviting, the portions were large the prawn toast was very nice but the chicken in black pepper sauce was bland and tasteless and was more like a beef gravy with a sprinkling of black pepper, the beef chop Suey was also weak and tasteless the chips were tasteless and the egg fried rice was tasteless, overall a very disappointing eat, no plans to return or recommend, I think 2 stars is very generous. Last night's takeaway was amazing! The prawn toast in the starter, perfect. The ribs, perfect, the spring rolls, extra crunchy and by far the best I'd ever had.The chili chicken main was incredible. You guys are by far the best Chinese takeaway in Derby and probably the whole of the Midlands.You deserve more credit, the extra steps you go to do not go Unnoticed because I recommend you to pretty much everyone.PLEASE keep up the great food and don't let the standards slip.

Thank you! You saved our anniversary treat! Our usual Chinese takeaway was closed so we went hunting and found every other takeaway closed until the Evergreen Garden! You were amazing, helpful, patient and the food was divine. Every dish was yummy! Our Little One was particularly excited by their lollipop. Thank you so much! We'll definitely be back again. 谢谢！

Good food and quick service. However, i gave 3 stars because it was cash only and didn't find out until i got there. Clearer notification is needed on the website. So if you're going in the shop for an after work treat, make sure you have some cash on you...

Some of the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had. Very fresh and perfectly cooked however it’s a 4 for service as it’s cash only. The woman behind the counter is lovely and polite. In the end I ordered through just eat for collection but annoying meant my order was £2 more as I had to pay what I assume is commission to just eat. I will be back but only when I have cash

The place you trust and order all the time lets you down and absolutely does not care. Received off food, whole order was inedible. Reported to just eat and straight to Evergreen. No response, no care whatsoever. Will never order again. Someone could be really ill after food like that.
