Lovely receptionist but unable to provide a service where my daughter at university in Northampton could sign a document pertinent to our imminent house purchase. I explained I would pay a fee and that the mortgage company had sprung this on us last minute. Nobody there was able to help in suggesting a solicitor nearby who may offer the service. I was told to google it. I live 360 miles away so would have liked a little support- even though they were unable to help us.

I was initially using HCB Solicitors in Bedford for the purchase of my first home. Three months in I chased for an update only to find out my solicitor had left at short notice! This was stressful and disappointing as I felt I was only told because I had asked! Thankfully my case was then passed to Kellie Hawtin-Perry at Northampton who was very responsive to my emails and got my purchase over the line. She and her assistant Bethany have also continued to assist me with an outstanding query relating to my purchase. I would recommend Kellie to others.
