Just want to share how professional both Mark and Naomi were to our family. Their empathy and understanding shown to myself , my mum and my brother were second to non, nothing was too much trouble and at no point did they ever make us feel that we were being a nuisance , Mark was just so accommodating and his attention to detail was very comforting. He kept us up to date at all times. As a family we really cannot fault Lymers and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much

Can't recommend Joseph Lymer and son's enough, Mark made a very sad period of our lives very bearable by putting us at ease and giving us every option for the funeral of my dad without any hard sell tactics or pressure, Nothing was too much trouble and so much patience as we changed our minds a few times on certain things. Mark even arranged a very special detour before the service which will stay with my family and i forever. Even weeks after the funeral Mark has contacted me to see if all is well and offered any help or advice with any concerns .Wish i could give 10 stars.

I would highly recommend Joseph Lymer & Sons if you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing a funeral directors. The care and attention they gave to us and in my grandads honour was outstanding and it will never be forgotten. I have no doubt he was taken care of with respect and dignity whilst he was staying with them before his funeral. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark, Naomi or the rest of the team.My grandad looked so smart in the chapel of rest and we were given all the time we needed. They were so happy to help with all the personal touches, taking fingerprints and locks of hair upon our request.In regards to funeral arrangements; there was no hint of a sales pitch and we felt reassured that everything would be made perfect for my grandad and it was! The order of service booklets were personalised to my grandads interests by Mark and I know he would have loved them. On the day of his funeral, they made sure everything was just right, positioning his trademark flat cap and walking stick with him in the hearse. The florist they recommended exceeded all of our expectations, creating a horse track as a floral tribute to his weekly horse bets.The team were extremely respectful and so smart for my grandad’s final journey.They honestly made the most awful situation into such a positive experience and we will always remember that. From the bottom of our hearts, Thankyou.

From the beginning with meeting Naomi and Mark, the arrangements, communication, order of service, respect and dedication of the team members, Peter Walley had the most personal and dignified funeral that his family could ever have wished for. Joseph Lymer & son have been exceptional from the off! They have helped us all through such a difficult time. From the very first conversation over the phone with Naomi to being dropped off at the wake by their newest member Gary. Who was beyond amazing considering it was his first funeral. I Would highly recommend this funeral directors, they have been extremely helpful and sympathetic throughout this difficult journey. I cannot praise this company highly enough. Naomi and Mark were so easy to deal with and so professional. We used their suggested florist and caterer and they were excellent as well. Every aspect of the funeral passed flawlessly, even down to the quality of the service sheets and choice of music.

I can not put into words how magnificent the whole team are. From the second they came to pick my mum up they ensure that they maintained her dignity and continued to show compassion continuing to talk to her throughout the process really melted my heart. It didn't stop there throughout the planning they were extremely empathetic and called at regular intervals even if it was to check on to ensure myself and other loved ones were coping. Nothing was ever to much. From the bottom of my heart thank you Joseph lymer and sons you will always be recommended by me.

What lovely people Mark and Naomi are. The cremation had taken place prior to them taking over the business and we were returning to arrange the burial of ashes. We mainly dealt with Mark who patiently and caringly guided us through the process. During what is at best, a stressful time, we felt at ease and had full confidence in their ability to provide a first class service. They did not disappoint. Thank you Mark, Naomi and team.

Myself, my brother Phil, sister Jill and our mum Pauline met Mark to arrange our dads funeral in mid September. From the initial meeting it was clear Mark was professional, showed utmost respect and compassion for the situation we faced as mum suffers from ‘forgetfulness’. Mark kept us fully up to date with all arrangements right up to the funeral in early October. We had some issues to sort which Mark rectified seamlessly…..we cannot fault Mark and his team at all, his recommendation of Colin to read the eulogy was perfect as was Colin himself.We as a family have no hesitation in recommending Lymer’s.Pauline, Dave, Phil and Jill on behalf of our dad John.
