The Fireflies - Sussex Party Band

Wow. what can I say. The Fireflies are a must for any party, wedding or event where live music is required. Communication from start to finish with the band's lead singer Ian was flawless, and Ian was a pleasure to deal with. The band played a 2 hour set which was brilliant and included a range of different songs from several decades. Musically the band is AWESOME and had all our guests up and dancing. I would highly recommend The Fireflies and would book them again for future events. Happy customer!

The Fireflies lived upto & exceeded expectations.From making first contact with Ian and discussing plans & requirements, to packing away after my husband Toms 70th birthday celebration in our garden, the band were personable, friendly & professional. The music they played or included on the playlist was as requested, and was perfect for all guests to enjoy.Ian always checked that I was happy with how things were and was very reassuring, especially when he first arrived and could see how stressed I was, so that I was finally able to enjoy the party too.So many of our guests asked how I found the band, and comments such as they're amazing"

We booked The Fireflies for our wedding after listening to them at our local and falling in love with them. Due to lockdown and my health not being great our wedding got postponed by 4 years but Ian made this as stress free as possible and we are so glad they could do our new date. The band was absolutely amazing from our first dance to the DJ set it was all perfect, we honestly don’t have anything bad to say and our guests have all commented on how great the fireflies was throughout our evening. We would highly recommend them they simply won’t disappoint any occasion!

Cannot recommend these guys enough. One of the most energetic and talented bands I've had the pleasure of seeing live. They bought loads of energy, great song choices (both that they played and during the DJ session between sets) and also performed a beautiful rendition of our first dance song, which was extremely special.Communication up to the wedding day was excellent, they also liaised directly with our venue for the finer points of detail to save us being the middle man! On the day, they turned up on time, setup without fuss (included a bonus song for sound check which got everyone excited). Crowd interaction during their set was excellent - Ian was especially good at A) involving the kids and B) spotting and calling out great dance moves.All in all, these guys are great. You should hire them for your event. We are contemplating getting married again just so we can have another party with them.

WOW! The Fireflies played at our wedding recently and were absolutely incredible. From day one, Ian's communication was fantastic, which is so important when organising something as big as a wedding. He was professional so we always knew what was going on, as well as enthusiastic and passionate so we knew we were going to have an amazing time, and we 1000000% did.On the day, the whole band were so friendly, they felt like part of our guests. The music was brilliant and got everyone up on the dance floor for the whole night! They tailored the playlist exactly to our tastes and did an amazing version of our first dance song for us.HIGHLY recommend the Fireflies - a truly amazing experience from start to finish!

Thanks so much for playing at our wedding on Saturday. The band were so easy to communicate with in the run up, packed the playlist with songs we loved and were great fun on the night. Their set was in an orangery during a heatwave so a pretty hot room. Despite most of the guests dancing outside due to the heat they still created a great vibe. Amazing band..a must have to entertain ALL your guestsRight…..I’m incredibly fussy and hard to please, however this band exceeded all my expectations.Communication was constant leading up to my event. WhatsApp and calls.“What sort of party?”“Would you like a particular song?”“Anything else……?”The band were very interactive with the crowd. The singer would come on the dance floor multiple times during the night.Happy to recommend to anyone!!Will definitely use many times in the future!Thank you for a suck a good night!!!!
