The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is quite shallow but much warmer than council pools are. The changing rooms and showers are thoughtfully fitted out with everything you could need. The two gyms have a wide range of equipment available, kept in good condition. It is a comfortable place for anyone to exercise and a has wide range of club members across age and gender.

The yoga class programme is first class. Great instructors all with different styles. Suitable for beginners to experienced yogis. I just wish i had started when i first joined. Highly recommended.

Staff are always friendly and helpful but the gym is a massive let down. Today 5 of the 9 running machines were down and the equipment is really old and possibly unsafe. For what I pay it's a shame and I hope they are able to refurbish it soon. Much needed.

As a member of the leisure club we pay a fair amount every month to be able to swim, it seems that the times that the pool is free is getting smaller and smaller, it's just ridiculous.

Was a member here from 2006 to 2020 and my membership finally ended due to covid lockdowns. Been a member at gyms from New York to Newcastle and this gym has a lovely 'vibe' about it that I really miss. Hopefully will be able to rejoin again in the near future.

Great little club. Machines are outdated with a few staying out of order. Pool is lovely but difficult to do lengths if anyone is in not wanting to swim but that's to be expected with hotel guests. Sauna and steam room are fabulous. Jacuzzi isn't up to much! Showers stay on for long enough to wash one arm pit but other than that....tidy, clean and never overcrowded.
