Barchester - Field House Care Home

What a beautiful home the staff and especially the manager were absolutely amazing... couldn't think of a better place for our loved ones to be cared for in.. lovely warm and welcoming home xxxxxx

I Came here for the Christmas stall xxI was welcomed in very politely by the staff and all the residents there smiled and spoken with lovely manners xWas a very cheerful environment and loved every moment ❤️ x

What a lovely pleasant home the Fieldhouse is. I’ve had the pleasure to visit on many many occasions and each time the staff are always so helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble. It is extremely well managed and I would have no concerns at all in recommending here very highly.

We had hoped our mother could end her days at home with our help but her heath declined rapidly and we needed more people, especially for night time care. We booked her into Field House care home as being the nicest we saw. Its like a small hotel but with lots of people to call on and watch over you. The care provided was excellent and as Mums health continued to decline Field House dealt very well with her changing needs. We had booked Mum in initially for 4 weeks but she declined further and passed away after 2 weeks. The care home were particularly brilliant the last few days, seeing what was happening and calling in the right NHS nursing teams. At home we’d have been given the NHS 111 runaround but Mums terminal NHS care was managed in an exemplary way by the home, knowing which local NHS team to call and when. We thoroughly recommend the Field House and in particular Amanda, the deputy manager. Without her help and support a difficult last week would have been so much harder.

On visiting the home I was overwhelmed by the friendliness and how caring and approachable all staff were. The home is beautiful with a happy, friendly atmosphere where it is evident that nothing is too much trouble for the team regardless of their role. All the residents seem relaxed and happy and very at home in their surroundings

I have worked at this care home on a few occasions and found the staff and management lovely and made me feel very welcome.You can tell that the residents are extremely happy there and the staff seemed to really get on with them aswell as do an excellent job caring for them.I also had lunch there while working and the food was of a high standard.It has also had a resent re - decoration and looks absolutely amazing. Well done Feildhouse and all your staff

Attended as a medical professional, the home was clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and helpful and had full knowledge of the residents background they were helpful during our visit.
