TS1 Student Accommodation

My experience has been good so far. The application process for the apartment was fairly smooth and the move in was seamless.

Communication was hit and miss - when it was good it was superb, at other times it fell short. Mice were a big problem, and the maintenance man refused to carry out the work recommended by pest control on their second visit. Some problems with TS1 accessing the property without warning or with not enough warning. TS1 were told there were disabled students, and accommodating their needs was like the communication - sometimes good but sometimes poor. Tenancy end date reminders were generated by the system based on the last person to move in, leading to a scramble to leave - TS1 worked with us to resolve this, and will hopefully change their automated system to reflect that not all tenants move in on the same day. We received the deposit back in full, which was appreciated. The house was close to the uni, and with the exception of access points for mice (hopefully now blocked up as advised by pest control) was in good condition

My experience with Ts1 Student Accommodations (Student Department) was Pathetic, Bad or I can say worst in my life. I wish I can give minus rating.Despite being delighted to find a good house, the agency turned out to be a nightmare. Communication between staff members was poor, and they seemed uninformed about various aspects of their job, including the tenancy agreement.The problems with the property continued when we moved in, as there was no heating in the rooms. It took the agency a whole month to fix this issue, which was a major inconvenience during the colder months. Furthermore, it took an unreasonable amount of time for the agency to provide us with basic amenities, such as curtains, kettle and toaster machine. Even worse, they failed to fix our backyard door, rendering the space unusable throughout our tenancy (1 Year).One of the most frustrating experiences was having to wake up early every Friday to dispose of our rubbish in the council vehicle, as there was no proper waste management system in place. The final straw was the agency's handling of our deposit, as we have been waiting for two months and are not yet to receive it. Despite communicating with the staff members about the rubbish in the backyard and our inability to access it on certain days, we were still charged for it.To anyone considering renting from Ts1 Student Accommodations (Clarke Munaro) Agency, I would strongly not recommend. The staff members are unprofessional, rude, and seem unqualified for their job. There is no guarantee of privacy or deposit return, and the maintenance service is practically non-existent. Overall, my experience with Ts1 Student Accommodations was disappointing and frustrating.

Our experience of TS1 students was generally positive on the whole, the house was very nice.Our main issue was that they often failed to respond to emails in a timely manner or at all.Unfortunately they also attempted to reduce the deposit we were to be refunded upon leaving. However with some negotiation we were able to come to a more reasonable agreement.

The worst agency i have ever seen in my life, i have a problem with my boiler its not working so reported to them and they said gonna call the Landlord, I waited for few days no response then called again a week later they said I didn’t call them again so they assumed it was fixed by itself which is absolutely funny and shows how poorly they are handling complaints then finally i got an engineer to check the boiler, he checked the boiler and told me there is nothing wrong with the boiler and it seems to have problems with my gas meter so i called my supplier and they send an engineer on same day he came and checked the gas meter he said gas meter is absolutely fine there is enough pressure and flow so definitely it’s the boiler faulty.So i called the agency again and explained the same then they send another engineer to check the boiler and the whole process repeated itself but no one bothered to fix the issue which is definitely a faulty boiler as i am on a DD with my gas supplier and my account is still in massive credit and wait countinues

Since it's mandatory to atleast give one star rating so I had to give or I don't even feel like giving negative.I had faulty tv throughout tenancy contract period which never got repaired till the end. They never inform about the maintenance team visit. The viewing for next person starts 5 months before which is very irritating. They have spare keys to the room so if you don't open your door for any reason they just open the door and enter. They don't care about your privacy. There is no hot water to wash utensils. WiFi isn't strong. For the entire building there are only 2 washing machine and dryer so you have to wait very long to wash clothes. The vacuum cleaners suction is very less. It doesn't even hoover.If you ask for replacement they just fool you saying that they found replacement and you never get replaced and have to pay the rent for more than 2 months.Have to call the office for Deposit.Very disappointed and would never recommend anyone to rent a apartment from them.

We had some issues with accomodation and getting the refund if the deposit. Millie was amazing in helping us, took time to resolve but she's the right person to speak to with resolving issues.

Bit of a nightmareBeen over a month haven’t received my deposit back, everytime I call they say they will email at the end of the day with an update. Landlord apparently needs to sort utility stuff out but that was two weeks ago, there’s already new people living in the house. We would email about the problems we had going on and it would take a while for a response. Had a rat problem for the whole stay. When they eventually came to block up the holes the rats had died inside the ceiling and had a fly infested house . freezing during the winter as the back door isn’t fitted in properly. Lots of miscommunication between landlord and TS1. Landlord once took our lock and left didn’t even tell us he was taking it. Workers would just be in our house without notice. When we moved in there was a lovely poo in the toilet waiting for us stinking the house out for a week. Cleaners did a terrible job you’d think they’d use the deposit toward that. Left the house better than we found it. TS1 themselves are nice but seem to avoid a lot of problems.. House was labelled as refurbished but carpet was torn out the ground leaving someone tripping down the stairs and permanently bruised on the back. Came to “fix” it nothing changed. and the bathroom wasn’t even put together properly causing leaks in the ceiling. We kept our end of the promise paid all my rent and some reason landlord can’t keep to his part of the agreement. Website states within 2 weeks deposit should be paid. so overall not great communication and A lot of false promises. Again Nice people not great agency for us this time.

Pleasant, best student agency in Middlesbrough, Abbi,Chloe ,Mayand Miley in particular are really nice people … Always ready to help if you need them .. Best people to have around your corner trust me
