Fantastic place for people on low income and benefits. It's not just a job to the staff. It's a passion. They care about every patient and owner that comes through their door. Kind, considerate, as well as very professional.

Pdsa are amazing..we've been using them for years. Not only when we had cats but now we have our dog and did an amazing job spaying him and advising us on aftercare.

The PDSA have been fantastic with my dog, discovering she has Addison's disease. She was going to the local vets but after £1000 of vets fees with no diagnostic I called them. I couldn't recommend them highly enough but more people need to donate what they can when they have treatment to help funding.

Avoid!! Had me believing my dog was dying and that I should 'start thinking about the question' (should I put him to sleep.) Did not want to do surgery to remove a lump because he is 10 and has arthritis - which is common in his breed. Would not cut his nails because the appointment is only for 10 mins. Seemed very caught up on the money. The place was disgusting, it smelt horrible and was not inviting at all.I didn't feel right about what we had been told so returned to my normal vet. Now surgery is done, my dog is happy, full of life and nails are clipped. I'm just sorry I put him and myself through the experience of going to PDSA, what an all round waste.

This place is fantastic! Couldn't fault the staff, they've been absolutely marvellous. My pet was treated promptly and its obvious the staff love animals. Vets can be very expensive and unaffordable for those on benefits but depending on what benefits you qualify for you can either get free treatment or discounted treatment. I would encourage anyone using PDSA to donate what you can afford.
