A brilliant night’s stay at The Greyhound Inn.A warm welcome. A great bar with people to chat to.Excellent food served too!Look out for their special evenings - you could stay over and enjoy a wine tasting for example!Perfect night’s sleep followed by a really good breakfast.Nothing to complain about!

We had the loveliest meal at this perfect little pub in Hackforth. Such a warm welcome and friendly service. The mushroom starter was heavenly and the steaks delicious too. We’ll definitely be back when we next find ourselves in North Yorkshire!

Booked to break the journey home from Scotland. What a great place, a warm and friendly welcome. The room was lovely, big and spacious, and an ideal family room. Big shower.We had dinner at the pub. Good selection, with a good vegetarian choice. If you would like to eat, if staying I would advise you to book a table in advance.

Great froendly staff, cosy and stylish rooms, excellent food and beers. 300 year old building which is fascinating if you're into old architecture. Situated in quiet village 10 minutes from Leeming Bar which was ideal for our Polar Exprress visit. Definitely recommend and we'll definitely be back. 10/10 !! Many thanks!!

Good pub food without pretensions and a reasonable size portion too.The pie is excellent as is the fish and chips.It’s our regular place to go now.

We were on a long journey home and rang, on the off chance, to book a Sunday roast just an hour before we passed. A space was made for us in the bar, and we had a warm welcome when we arrived. The food was delicious, friendly service, in a lovely, quiet location not too far from the A1, and our pooch was so comfy under the table she didn't want to leave. We will definitely return if we pass by again.

Stayed at the Greyhound last year and gave a slightly negative review as we thought it was overpriced.Went back last weekend and the room cost was better value for money, the room excellent, breakfast and food in the bar again first class, a big improvement all round, also the manager/landlord so helpful and friendly.Only downfall and not a fault but no food available in the bar on a Sunday evening, we had to buy sandwiches from a shop and luckily the weather was ok for a picnic.All in all, a very fine pub with great staff, great rooms and great food.Also a very good pint of IPA.
