Great parking and really nice guy at the gate, however surely for the price, you can afford a bin?!? As there no local bins unless you walk into town.

£4.50 to park all day or £2.50 after about 14:00 (IIRC). Locks up at 17:00. Payment by card at entry. Not busy on a Sunday in January. Seems fairly well maintained and relatively convient to the tourist.

It's a carpark - so graded against others it is clean and tidy etc. Can pay by card which is a relief as the price is quite high

No height barrier. Ideal for castle visit, and only a 5 min walk to Skipton High St. Funds from the charges go towards the castle funds. Beware ... motorhomes ... we can fit into a car spot so £4.50 for the day - £2.50 after 2.00, but campers/motorhomes that take more space are charged £9 .

Lovely guy on the gate, as seen in previous reviews. He was pleasantly surprised when I told him I read a review about him. Such a humble man! Car park is very good, lots of room, clear markings, reasonably priced, conveniently located.

Very friendly Man on gate lots of spaces and close to town. Yes a small charge but it's not awful as it's all day parking and goes to the upkeep of the castle etc.

Car park, location and price (2.50 all day) are all good. But surly attendant was off-putting. You pay on entry, he watched me get coins ready then just said card only" then immediately after I paid told me it closes at 5pm (i would have gone else where if I'd known beforehand)"
