Travelodge Highbridge Burnham-on-Sea

Nice clean rooms with what you need for short stay. Staff very friendly and helpful.Lovely bar and restaurant on site . Only couple miles of the beach ,car needed.

Stayed here for 2 nights.The female receptionist who greeted us on Monday evening found it impossible to muster up so much as a smile. Her customer service skills were virtually non-existent. It set the tone for a rest of our stay.Our room was not cleaned, and bins not emptied.There was no soap in the shower dispenser and hardly any in the sink dispenser on arrival. Also, hardly any toilet roll.The restaurant actually ran out of many food items on our second night, which may have been a blessing as other guests said they'd found it fairly inedible.We were extremely disappointed with our first experience at Travelodge, which will also be our last. I really regret having decided to stay here, when alternatives were available.Premier Inn beats it by a mile.

Over many working years, I have stayed with a Travelodge. This is my first review. The staff are great and helpful. (Manager cares!) The food is good. The location is isolated, but it's great for the motorway M5 or holiday resorts nearby.Staff are all smiles! great job

Service at reception and breakfast was very good. Location is good just off m5.Kettle, mugs and spoons needed to be cleaned before use. Kettle was very dirty. Comfortable bed and air con was good during the late summer heatwave.

Well I have stayed in several hotels in the south west & have to say I was happily satisfied with this one, wasn’t expecting too much but was impressed with the food and drinks including the prices. There were several kids that the parents were trying to keep quiet, but I never mind the sound of little ones playing. Bedroom was perfect with air conditioning and a clean room and shower.

The bathroom in the double room was quite small and had a shower but no bath so no good if you require a bath eg small children/bathing preference. The mirror with a socket for hairdryer etc had a chair but no table so I sat on the floor with my hairdryer and makeup around me but the mirror was then too high for me to see so a bit of a design flaw there. Location was absolutely perfect. Aldi and costa within the site. Lovely steakhouse 10 mins drive up the road, nice beach nearby etc etc. Unfortunately when I raised that a member of our party had commented to me about the watery poor nature of the coffee the staff member smugly told me well I've been having coffee from it all morning and no one else has complained" as though I had nothing better to do but make up a false claim about the coffee. I only mentioned it to give him the chance to rectify it. I gave him the benifit of the doubt thinking my travel companion was maybe fussier than I am about his coffee and went to have my own breakfast and coffee but found that it was indeed so watery I had to add 2 sachets of instant coffee to my mug to make it actually taste of anything but milky water. We stayed at this location for 3 days, overall our stay was good, the bed accommodation was good, comfortable bed, basic essentials that you need in the hotel provided for you, only downside was the price of the drinks and the delay of our food we ordered, we waited around 50 minutes for our food to be served to us, there was mutiple people around that had ordered after us and were seen before us… when asked how long our food was going to be after waiting for a ridiculous amount of time , the lady on reception was quite rude. No communication or heads up to let us know how long it was going to be. Breakfast was average, some of the hot food was cold.Overall was an average stay but wouldn’t return here in the future.

We stopped overnight on the way down to Cornwall, the service and room was wellOK. Room clean, with tea and coffee.Wi-Fi was free for 30 minutes, £3 per person there after. breakfast did the job, although theCoffee machine was out of order.As I say it did what we needed and at the price point we are happy.

Fabulous hotel at a great price ! Well located with good link to motorway and A road to Weston super mare, Burnham on sea, Bridgwater. The rooms are as expected with a large hotel chain, I was on my own so had the double bed all to myself. Lovely clean bathroom with shower . Breakfast was good though its always in the timing when its help yourself set up , the food was warm enough to eat and fair quality for the price. Be ready to put the toast in twice to get it brown . Aldi is next door if you need supplements.
