Always have a good experience going to Plymstock. All employees are very helpful. I personally wouldn't go anywhere else for my eye care.

Very efficient and was seen by Eva Oberg. Very lovely young lady and everything felt really easy and comfortable. She explained what she was about to do test wise thoroughly and I Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Glasses were incorrect, had to book a second appointment kept waiting. Second pair of glasses still not right, so gave up. Buy cheap, buy twice. I'd go elsewhere and save yourself the hassle.

IMHO - now terrible. Avoid!I have been a customer for 30 years and have never returned a pair faulty or broken. My customer records must show that. I have several years worth of old pairs at home as spares. I bought a pair last summer and have taken them back three times to be repaired in the same part.I have been very unlucky to deal with the same member of staff. Who very much works on the rule that she is right, and you as the customer are wrong. Each time she says that I must have knocked the glasses, or worn them to bed (!) or take them off one handed. She will not listen to any other view point and will go on and on about her many years of experience and therefore I am wrong. And takes any viewpoint from me as a customer as something not to be listened to, but stomped all over.My customer records of 30 years must show that I very (very) rarely return glasses. But that member of staff will not listen to any other view point. She is very rude and what makes it worse is that she has has no idea of how she is coming across.I will no longer return as a customer as there are many online suppliers who are much cheaper. And other high street options. I have lost all faith that if I get a genuine fault that they will be made good or replaced. So sad as all the other staff are amazing.

Fantastic friendly staff given it was my first eye test etc, explained everything in detail.100% recommend this opticians.

Found the staff were friendly and helpful, but one girl was fantastic and really made us feel welcome and really help. Although I’ve been waiting 2weeks for my glasses.

Very pleased with my new glasses. Supplied at a time to suit me and adjusted for a comfortable fit by very pleasant staff.

Opticians and assistants are lovely.The assistant manager Steve Stark is very rude and unhelpful.The side decorative piece on the arm of my 7 week old glasses came away. Initially he wanted to charge me 1/2 the frame price as he didn't consider the frame defective and asked why I wanted them changed!When I asked why it would cost me again, and yes they are defective, he responded by saying......' maybe you wanted to say instead........can you change them for me please?' In a very rude manner.The young assistant was lovely and changed my lenses and explained that all glasses have a 12 month guaranteeunder no circumstances should I have been told that a charge would be made.For an assistant manager this is not good customer service and does not make me want to return.Maybe some additional staff training on guarantees and customer service Is required.

Went to pick up my new glasses and the staff were their usual, cheerful, polite selves with everything dealt with quickly and efficiently, just how it should be.
