They shortened sleeve length for a wool mac. Expertly done and also tightened the jacket making it to nicely fit me. Looks bloody fabulous once on now. Nice prompt and efficient service.

Came here again to have 2 cushion covers made from some fabric with huge sentimental value and the result is just perfect. Couldn't be happier! Had a lovely conversation with the lady in the shop as well who is just so warm and welcoming. So glad we have this place nearby.

The lady here did a fantastic job altering my Lycra cycling bib shorts which were too small. Really neat work and great customer service. Couldn't ask for more!

A great little place in Urmston. Took a pair of trousers and a dress to be altered (made smaller), both completed very quickly.The lady who greets you is lovely and friendly and very helpful - explaining the alterations required, providing cost effective alternatives.The small shop is small but very clean and tidy, as are the 2 changing rooms, (always a plus - tidy place, tidy minds).Certainly recommended; great value for money; would certainly return.Thank you to Fix & Stitch. I had a dress shortened here a month ago, it cost £16 and they did a lovely neat job.I rang 2 weeks prior to popping in and they said no need to book an appointment, just walk in anytime with your item.I needed it for 7 days after I took it in and there was initially some debate as to whether it could be done by then. In the end they said yes, they would do it in that time. It took 4 days because as I understand it - they were particularly busy with lots of other garments ahead of mine, due to it being wedding season. I think ordinarily they would have been able to do it sooner. Bear it in mind though if you choose to come here, leave time before you need it done by as I think they're growing in popularity here.I would definitely go here again, the work was professional looking and very neat and tidy, plus the girls I met on the day were really helpful and nice and the place is spotless. I mean that quite literally, it was impeccably clean and tidy.
