Select Alarm Systems LTD

After our Insurance advised we needed to get our old alarm system replaced and get a police response, we asked Select Alarms to quote. They were the only company of the four who asked about what we needed and why, explained all the pros and cons and even talked with our Insurer which secured us a cost saving. All I can say is they definitely go the extra mile and I will be recommending them if asked.

I have used Select Alarm Systems in September 2009 to fix my alarm and am pleased to say that I have called them again today, March 2013 for another job. This is because they did me a great professional service in 2009. Valerie who answered my call then answered again today. It must be a good company to work for if she is still there.Well done guys!! Not many people out there who call you back, turn up on time, or even do a good job like you do.

I recently had the SAS company service my outdated security alarm system, that was originally installed by them , which I inherited from the previous owner. When I booked the appointment for the service, no price or quote was provided. I was informed that the engineer would provide the pricing during the visit. However, during the visit, the engineer did not provide a specific quote but mentioned that the battery replacement would cost around £40. I was surprised to receive a bill of £172.80 in the mail, which lacked any details or breakdown of the charges. When I called the office seeking clarification, I was connected to the same engineer who had visited my house. He simply confirmed that the bill amount was correct but was unable to provide any further information. I couldn't help but wonder why he didn't mention the price during the visit if he was aware of it. This experience feels like a blatant act of overcharging, and now I realize that there were warning signs all along that I failed to notice. I will never engage in any future business with them. Their unprofessional behavior is truly disappointing.

I had cctv put on from these cow boys they had a short ladder so they put them on the botem when i wanted them high by the windows they teling me we cuming this day then say another day this is a pistake i wont be useing u again or my famliy or friends

This is the WORST company and a bunch of cowboys!!! Avoid at all costs! Overcharged on 4 occasions and the operater who was a family member of the business did not want to listen to any of it. She was rude, arrogant and not professional.Each time there was a alarm they would charge extortionate prices for their engineers (£340 for a false alarm!) Which took them 5 hours to get to the premises.Seriously, avoid this company at all expenses.

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to all at SAS. We had a break in at our premises over the Bank Holiday and the guys were fantastic. The alarm went off straight away, I was called and the Police.Thankfully only some broken glass to deal with, as they didn't get very far without all the bells and whistles going off.Thanks to their Engineer who also came out withing 30 minutes of me calling, will definitely be recommending you.

Having been asked to get our schools old CCTV and alarm system upgraded I contacted Select having worked with them at a previous school.The quality of the new IP CCTV is amazing and the alarm system has been fault free (a definite upgrade from the old company).We will be using them again to fit an access system over the summer.

Thanks to the guys at SAS who have installed a new alarm and smokecloak in my jewellers. Even if anyone gets in, they wont be seeing anything to steal, check out the videos on the smokecloak website.

Select Alarm Systems recently upgraded our CCTV at our office, we met with Matt who came out to quote for the new system and provided us with exactly what we wanted and met all of our requirements.The installation team were brilliant and always kept me in the loop with what was going on and worked around our office staff and kept a clean and tidy work space.Overall a painless and pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend Select Alarm Systems to others.
