Lilian is warm and welcoming and makes the class fun with her humour.The class is relaxed, easy to follow, interactive and very informative. She gives you great tips and the food is very tasty. A fabulous thing to do alone or with someone. I would highly recommend.

We were looking for something very different to celebrate an 80th birthday. Having seen Lilian’s column in the Bury Free Press and after checking out the webpage, we knew we’d found what we were looking for.Communication with Lillian was great, it made the organisation of the special event really easy. We were able to choose from an extensive menu which suited everyone attending.Being a surprise dinner party for the birthday girl, she was totally amazed and thrilled. From the Singapore Sling cocktails to the last bite of the sublime apple fritters, and everything in between the meal was a huge success, all down to the culinary expertise of Lilian and her very capable assistant Hannah.We would definitely recommend Lillian’s Kitchen to anyone looking for that extra special experience for any type of event but especially for a celebration.Thank you to Lilian and Hannah for making Gwen’s birthday a super day to remember for all the family.

Lilian was fantastic - we ordered a 17th birthday cake. We submitted a request through the website and received a call back within the hour. Lilian asked about interest areas, personality - and tailored a cake that was both delicious and strikingly aesthetic - hand delivered to schedule. A total wow. Would highly recommend for gifts, special treats. A pleasurable experience - which I’ll definitely do again! Cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Lilian!

Lilian came to our home and gave us an evening we will never forget! From a cookery masterclass to being served food that was so fantastic I could have cried! The atmosphere created and story telling were amazing! I cannot fault a single second of our experience, and to top it off the cake was sublime!!!5 stars isn’t enough!Thank you!!!

My sister and I live in separate countries, so it can be complicated (especially recently) planning to see each other. She came to visit me 3 months before her 30th birthday, so I wanted to celebrate it somehow with her. Lilian made the most gorgeous cake, exactly how I described it to her. She was such a great collaborator - suggesting beautiful details and lovely flavor combinations, while capturing the exact essence of what I was looking for. The cake was also delicious! It was a perfect, moist lemon cake, and everyone loved it. I would recommend Lilian to anyone who wants a perfect cake!

Lilian hosted my family of 6 adults in May 2023; my siblings 50ish and parents early 80s. I only reference our ages because Lilian explained everything really well and at an unhurried speed that we could all manage and relax while doing. My goodness, the wealth of knowledge and experience that this woman has is boundless. And her obvious talent and enthusiasm is a joy. Having lived, travelled and eaten in Singapore and the Far East, we know and enjoy authentic food, so it was an absolute pleasure to assist and watch this chef at work. And to eat the results, of course! Lilian's personality is wonderful and warm. Can't praise her enough. Really hope to do another of her classes. Was drooling when she said what else she offers.

Lilian and her colleagues catered for a family 50th birthday - what a fabulous dinner! From the Singapore Sling to the fortune cookies, Lilian explained all the dishes and all were delicious and delicately executed. We are so looking forward to doing some classes and hopefully seeing Lilian soon on Saturday Kitchen!!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Lilian for the most fabulous birthday cake for my daughter’s 40th. The cake looked amazing and tasted fantastic. Not too sweet just as I ordered. Lilian you got it just right, everyone loved it !

Oh Lilian, what an evening Hannah and yourself created for Jane’s birthday! She is still reeling from the surprise, and the whole family thank you for an absolutely fabulous experience. The cocktails, masterclass, more cocktails, stories and amazing food made it a remarkable and memorable experience. How I will ever top that I do not know. It was a pleasure meeting you both and sharing in our special evening. The added bonus was the kitchen was left in a much better state than it was when you arrived…..truly amazing, thank you both, Alan x
